An amazing hotel with a wonderfully gracious hostess- Sara was so helpful and accommodating with our planning before we got to town and things we needed while there. We stayed in Suite 1, and it was very spacious, well-appointed, and comfortable. Location is very close to all of the good restaurants, entrance to the castle, and shops. The owner has a shop of her own which has great sportswear that was on the Main Street as well. Breakfast was plentiful and delivered at our requested time. A special surprise was also given to us for my husband’s birthday! Definitely 5 star service and accommodations, and we will return if ever in Morella again!
We had a rental car (suv), and getting through one of the smaller “gates” in the city to get up to the hotel to unload luggage was a bit challenging. Definitely translate the written directions she gives you via email or text ahead of time and follow those, not your GPS. Parking for visitors to the city is minimum 5-minute walk but you can unload directly outside the hotel. Everything else was amazing so this is more info for anyone who could have an issue with significant walking.
