In the middle of December, during a snowfall, the log cabin feel of the house was perfect. It was warm and welcoming. Nico was great to work with, he was very attentive and answered all my questions promptly. Although we weren't able to partake in any outside activities, the house is large enough for a family to enjoy a special occasion dinner, or a night of pizza and rowdy board games.

If you need a place to stay that is quiet and has AC it’s a fine property. We wouldn’t stay here again for a couple reasons: -There was no welcome email. I had to contact the host on arrival day to get the door code. Not a big issue, but didn’t inspire confidence. - Because there was no welcome email we could not access the wifi. One of the reasons we rented this home is because we have a baby cam. I reached out to the host three different times asking for the wifi details, but he didn’t answer until the morning. Additionally, the home has very limited cell service, so wifi was essential for communication with family.-I have stayed in many vacation rentals and all of them have had extras of soap, detergent, paper towel etc. This rental had no extra soap, no detergent, one roll of paper towels and the exact amount of trash bags for our stay. Luckily we have extra bags for soiled diapers, but it seemed a little stingy. On check out I went to load the dishwasher and start it, but there was no dishwashing detergent. This was below a budget hotel in terms of soaps, towels and not even any lotions. -Light bulbs were out, water faucets didn’t work and many door locks were broken. Overall the stay was fine because there were no other choices for us to move to that were close to family.
