Nuthatch barn is in a wonderful location in a quiet farm and beautiful countryside. The barn has floor to ceiling windows so you can look out over clear views on both sides of the living area. A woodpecker regularly visits the bird feeders outside as do so many other birds - wonderful to watch. A little squirrel visited me each morning and tapped on the glass to get my attention.
This is a fabulous location, a few minutes from Pontyclun and Llantrisant or the M4 if you want to travel further. I stay here when I am in the area on business as I hate hotels. Unfortunately, I am an auditor, so really work flat out at this time of year. My only regret is that I don't get more time off just to kick back and relax.

the barn is lovely and warm, cosy and comfortable. the owners (sally and tim) are so lovely and accommodating. there’s a great welcome pack with lots of info on local attractions and amenities. it was close to the m4 so easy location to get to places if desired, and there’s sheep right outside! they have a pet cat (called tinker) who’s super friendly and will meow at the door to come in for a fuss! i had a lovely week there and i would stay again :)
the insulation between the 2 barns (the one i stayed in and the one next door) wasn’t great and at one point i could hear someone snoring! and i would suggest more lamps downstairs (personally i don’t like using the overhead lights unless necessary) other than that it was perfect and neither of those ‘issues’ impacted my stay :)

A beautiful little getaway, ideal for couples, or someone like myself travelling on business.
Wi-Fi dropped out and was very slow. Wouldn’t matter to most but I have to write reports and this made the process a little challenging.

Lovely clean and spacious cottage. Plenty of parking and good facilities. Friendly host.
I would deity here again either for work or pleasure
All ok. Of I was hypercritical I would say if you have a guest staying for a week then leave enough toilet roll
