the staff and maintenance people made me feel very welcome on arrival - and were making great improvements and worked hard and fast -to make rooms nice and to keep everyone happy., and work was good standard , good quality materials.
We had a bit of an issue with my room door , but only because of the plush new carpet fitting, they did best to sort lock because door was stiff and stress was on the code lock from inside - causing it to loosen - thery tried to fix - but no time to cure adhesive properly = we muddled through with a temporary solution , it mucked up my schedule a tad , but they did best to sort , and so i didn't mind- i would gladly return . cos staff give great vibe, bent over backwards to assist and sort all my queries and initial issues and my room was clean to my liking ,it felt like being at home actually , and i had plenty of room too for my work cases .and personals .
i felt mostly at ease there. it was a fantastic location for my to and fro trips to winter gardens , and very close to beach and all local shops and amenities - but feels a nice distance, and not noisy in the thick of it all , close enough to everything i needed on my visit.
its not that i didnt like ( i felt secure enough in my room ) but disappearing keys , leading to shortage , meant the front door was left on latch for quite a lot of the duration - personally i didnt have too much of an issue with this , but obviously needs a back up plan - financial key deposit maybe a solution ? but each resident should have an entry key - the rooms are code locks and they do the job ( suggest written instruction on # and * keys ) i had to help neighbour who struggled for 20 mins - so initial welcome guidance would be appropriate ( there's a knack to them if you enter incorrectly at any stage ) minor issue - but can cause an unnecessary inconvenience - personally i think code locks are a good thing just not if you have long nails , big fingers or hit an incorrect key and have to start afresh without knowing you have to 'C' clear/ CANCEL DOWN -- x - but the fact neighbour struggled - and other neighbour panicked of the main door being on latch / or even off latch as they didnt have keys ?? to get in - either way its a slight improvement that needs to be made .. good locksmith round corner ( charnley rd )PAUL - im sure would accommodate good deal for spares -Just a thought ..
