Ideal location for us - near the lake and short drive to both Ambleside and Windermere. Walkable to from Windermere but plenty of buses should you prefer.
Close to Brockhole which has great zip wire and adventure playground facilities. The cruise liner to and from Ambleside and Bowness-on-Windermere can be boarded here.
Everything was clean and tidy.
In regard to the Park the Convenience Store it is very poorly stocked.
Would’ve been helpful if I could’ve found instructions for the small dishwasher - I’m not saying they weren’t there but they didn’t form a part of the folder in the lodge.
We moved one of the child beds away from the wall when we arrived and a leg fell off. I’m sure this will be replaced asap.

Beautiful lodge very clean and everything in its place...Beds really comfortable, dishwasher and washing machine as clean as a pin.. The TV with 1 channel was annoying at first as my husbands health is not too good, so we had to have a little bit of time in the lodge...but guess what !!! we talked and read 📚 . It was sooooo relaxing. Near to the lake which was a bonus lovely surroundings too.
Can't think of anything we didn't like....

Location was good. Very expensive for what it is. The place wasn't easy to find, even with the instructions. Plus the place wasn't very clean.
Not clean, over priced, not easy to find - very small plaque on the side of the place.

"Lovely and clean had everything we needed to feel at home, only 30 seconds to the lake, food at the club house was fantastic and the staff were very friendly."
