It was central and in easy walking distance of the centre of Cardiff. The possibility of street parking locally was an added bonus.

Guests don't seem to air the bathroom after showering, so there was some mold - probably not the owner's fault.

Disappointing and overcharged.

The property is a good location in terms of distance from the city centre. That’s of course if you don’t mind walking under a dark bridge and past rats as they scurry past and pigeons, lots of pigeons!

The property is subsiding. It was covered in cobwebs and was really musky when we arrived which took a while to freshen up. There must be drain issues in the area as regular pooh smells happened. The television would only play Netflix’s and the control needed batteries. Only two hobs worked so we didn’t try the cooker. We also avoided the washing machine as the electrics looked dangerous. There was a wardrobe in the living room for some reason full of the cleaning bits with doors that would not close. Sticky vanish dining table. Lots of bodged jobs visible that had been patched up. The gate did not work and was falling apart it had dropped so would not lock. The replaced gate was left rotting in the yard. Which only had table and chairs for two - needed a proper tidy. The stairs are covered in a thick carpet which like the sofas and beds have seen better days. We were miss sold this property saying it was two double bedrooms as the second room is a box and claustrophobic. The person squashed into the wall had to climb over their partner to get out. The main bedrooms bed was horrible and had a number of slat’s missing. Lots of random furniture dotted around. The door would not close and banged in the wind. The bathroom shower doors are broken and won’t shut. There is no lock on the bathroom door which would blow open unless you used the random chair to keep it closed. Mould and wood lice are features throughout. Another thing to be aware of is people talking walking past or if anyone has a party this is really loud. A flock of birds have decided to reside next door on a roof and fly from roof to roof which is really noisy. The automated messages from the owner were annoying - we got asked if anything was wrong and when we responded we were completely ignored. There was no welcome or instructions regarding locality of fire blankets etc. The fridge was so frozen up we could not easily close the door.

It was in a lovely peacful location. Sauna was goid.

Bed very uncomfortable. Cleaning was not up to scratch and wondered was electric safe? Oven kept tripping everything after 10 mins and sauna dubious??
