The place was perfect, nicely appointed, clean, and comfortable with lots of thoughtful little things to make the stay truly special. Loved the antique furnishings and fridge! Overall, very warm and inviting. Glad to have found this little gem near the beautiful town of Jim Thorpe!

The property has so much character; it’s clean and well maintained. It’s also within walking distance of downtown if you’re willing to walk some hills, which we did with no problem. Dee is communicative and provides helpful information along the way. She includes extras like coffee, waters, soaps, paper products, and more. We enjoyed our stay from start to finish.

This property was MUCH more than expected! Better than a regular hotel room for the same price. The personal touches were fantastic (a pack of chocolate chip cookies, a binder showing the history of the building telling that it was a confectionery then a bakery, etc.) Couldn't ask for better communications from the host.

Cozy and comfy. Best host we’ve had . Studio was Designed perfectly to accommodate your every need. Great communication, very clean. Little things like a small bouquet of fresh cut flowers was a nice touch.

We had a great stay at The Glen Onoko guest house. The place was clean and neat and had everything we needed. Dee was very communicative, and gave us lots of recommendations on things to do and places to see . The location was right outside of town but was super easy to get into town and to all activities . We would definitely stay here again !

We were in the area so my daughter could participate in the yearly Running Festival. The home, as well as the town, is unique and historic, with the scenic Lehigh Valley Gorge as a backdrop. We had lunch at the Stone Pub and Eatery, dinner at China Garden, and hoagies at Tommy's Subs right down the street. The home had everything we needed, a big comfy bed, and Dee was a great communicator.

We had a wonderful stay at Dee's VRBO. We were in town to see a friend perform in a holiday concert at the Mauch Chunk Opera House and this location was great for a home base for the weekend. Had a great dinner at the near by Union Public House "the only dive bar in Jim Thorpe".

The home is lovely - and situated close to the center of town, and within a short drive to beautiful scenery (great hiking within a 5 minute drive). We enjoyed our stay; regretting only that it was somewhat brief. Would definitely return to this property.

My husband and I just loved staying here while visiting Jim Thorpe for a long weekend. Perfect for two! So cozy!! We arrived and had a parking space directly in front of the apartment. Easy access to the building, open the door and felt like we had stepped back in time. Upon entering the first thing we noticed was how clean the apartment was and I mean CLEAN! I have rented several vacation homes and Dee's apartment is the best kept place I have ever stayed. The bed is also the most comfortable I have slept in at a rental property and my own. We didn't use the kitchen but it looked to be well stocked. We had no noise disturbances at night. If I could give more than 5 starts, I would! The property is also close enough that you can walk to city center of Jim Thorpe if you wanted to. Do not hesitate book this place today!

We have been wanting to stay in Jim Thorpe for a while and finally we’re able to a week ago. All the hotels in town were booked. Fortunately, I found this cute little place across the bridge from Jim Thorpe. It was cozy and charming and Dee was very accommodating. Would recommend!

This property was very clean, well maintained and furnished nicely. It is not located within the historic town of Jim Thorpe but it is very close…in what was once considered East Mauch Chunck. Getting to the nearby trailheads for hiking and biking is just a short drive and there is a cool little brewery up the street a little ways. The property manager is very communicative and attentive. All in all it’s a great little place to stay!

Beautiful and unique
Plenty spacious! Light and airy! Super comfortable bed! Everything was beautiful, the kitchen, dining area, bathroom, and living room! There is some street noise but it never bothered us. Easily parked in front or across the street. Highly recommend this wonderful place!

It’s on a busy road so the only thing that was difficult was the outside noise level, but the inside was cleanly and charming. The owner provided excellent recommendations of the area and had excellent resources in the room making it easy to find activities in the area. It was easy to locate and ample parking.
