This one bedroom apartment was designed for travelers that want to step out of their normal reality and into a peaceful and relaxing studio with built in art works by acclaimed (local) artist and designer Jon McCoy along with all the comforts of home. This peaceful escape comes with off-street parking, spacious living area, wifi, a bar and kitchenette. The bathroom has a large walk in shower, not a bathtub. The apartment is located 200 steps away from the Old Jail and a 2 to 4 minute walk to the local, bars, pubs, restaurants and the Mauch Chunk Opera House.

I was instantly pleased as soon as i walked in! The unit had a fun vibe, it was clean, free of odors, well taken care of and the availability of coffee and creamers was so helpful on the chilly mornings. I certainly plan to be returning back many of times!

The fenced-in outside area is perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks. We were absolutely delighted with the place. Not having to worry about packing linens or towels was a huge plus, too!
We planned on having all our lunches and dinners out, so when we first booked, I was concerned about walking downtown so many times, but I quickly learned what a delightful 5-minute stroll it was; and it afforded us the opportunity to chat with some of the hometown folk along the way.
If you visit Jim Thorpe, definitely make a stop at the Marion Hose Bar & Grill, Donerds Donuts, Ma's Crepes & Cakes, the Myst Hibachi & Sushi Pub, Molly Maquires, Nomad Distilling Co, and the Jim Thorpe Olive Oil Co.
I highly recommend this property and we hope to return in the future. Jeffrey and Chad are wonderful to deal with and are available to answer all your questions or to attend to any of your needs.

Our stay at the Guest House was everything we hoped it would be. The spacious accommodations welcomed two adults and our two dogs. Everything we needed was provided.
Our favorite part was the accessibility to all the charismatic shops and tasteful restaurants. Morning walks to donuts and an afternoon stroll down the streets was in perfect walking distance.
We were provided exceptional service and the best recommendations on where to eat, historical sites and trails!
We took our bikes and there were plenty of places for us to safely store our bikes.
We enjoyed spending a mid afternoon on the private trail and overlook.
I’ve already recommended Jim Thorpe and the Guest House to our family and friends and encourage anyone and everyone to visit and stay!

My husband, myself, and our pup had a delightful stay in art studio apartment. The attention to detail in the decor was impressive, creating a charming and inviting atmosphere. The apartment itself was comfortable and provided everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights was the lovely outdoor patio where we could unwind and enjoy the fresh air. Jeff and Chad were incredibly responsive and made the communication seamless. The location was ideal, within walking distance to restaurants and shops. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring this picturesque town, the local hiking trails, charming shops, and eclectic restaurants. We can’t wait to come back!

Everything in Apartment B was comfortable, clean and fun! The location is right in town so the majority of town is easily accessed by walking. I loved being able to have a reserved parking spot in Jim Thorpe and be able to get anywhere I wanted. I plan on always staying at the High Street apartments when we go back! Definitely stay here!

My wife and I had a great stay in Jim Thorpe at this cute lil Studio Apt. It's perfect for a couple staying a few nights. Super clean, has all of the necessities for your stay, quiet, affordable, has parking, and it's a short romantic walk from the shops in town. You can't ask for much more in JT. Jeff was great to work with. We'll be back for sure!!

Loved our stay! Very dog friendly and soooooo clean! Bed and furniture were very comfortable and host responded promptly and allowed us to check in as soon as we (my pups and myself) arrived. If there is a negative it’s that you can hear when the people in the upstairs appartment are walking around or using the restroom. So just keep that in mind if you sleep lightly or it might bother your pups. Would definitely recommend!

This apartment was so beautiful. From the art work on the walls to the cleanliness of the interior. The property is so convenient to wonderful shops and restaurants. I spent most of my time hiking with my dog and later relaxing with my book back at the apartment. I highly recommend!!!

Very, very clean! Many items were provided and it was so convenient. The location was just tucked behind Broadway and it was a perfect small walk to all the shops and restaurants. We enjoyed the town, hiking, white water rafting, and biking and D&L - and the scenic train ride! We enjoyed it so much that the day we left we booked another stay to enjoy this town at Christmas. You will not regret staying with this owner - he is wonderful!

I highly recommend this studio! The location is great, and you can’t beat the reserved parking; without reserved parking, you would have to pay for parking downtown. Additionally, the studio was spotless and very inviting. We enjoyed all of the displayed art and the unique LED crystal lights. The innkeeper was very friendly, and the owner responded immediately to any questions I had. I highly recommend this place!
