Very clean, close to light rail and restaurants. Enjoyed our stay very much!

Property description was accurate. Kitchen was organized so that made meal preparation easy. The property was walking distance to the Kline Galland Home so that made visiting Grandma very easy. Home was very comfortable.

The property itself was overall nice. The carpets are stained throughout and need to be replaced. The automatic lights are also annoying when getting up to go to the restroom at night.
The kitchen was well stocked and appliances were nice.
The living space is welcoming and open. Nice big TV with an xbox. Beds are comfortable.
The big issues with this property are the neighborhood and the limitations of being a duplex.
On our first night I was woken at 4am by loud banging (lower tenants banging on the ceiling) and a call from the owner about the lower tenants stating there were loud noises coming from our location. The "noises" were my 4 year old walking on the floor to use the bathroom. This left us pretty uncomfortable for the rest of the stay with everybody effectively being told "don't walk on the floors after 10pm!" For anybody with children who might be prone to jumping or running around this would be a property to avoid.
The major issue is the neighborhood. The house adjacent to the property has a dog that will BARK ALL DAY AND NIGHT. Moreover, given that the property's walls seem to be made of paper you will hear this as if the dog was in your bedroom. The house that the dog belongs to is also frankly scary. We saw people stumbling around outside the home and the house itself looks like it should be condemned.

Within walking distance to parks, bus stop practically on your doorstep. Walk to restaurants and Columbia City. Spotless. Only negative, no coffee for the first morning.

Beautiful home, spacious with a beautiful backyard. Nice location by Seward Park, which was great for morning walks.

Aside from a minor glitch at check-in—which was handled immediately—we had a wonderful experience. Clean, quiet yet close to many things, the unit is nicer than the pictures show. We spent almost 3 weeks at Tracy & Quyen’s VRBO, and felt like we were at home! The modern kitchen was a joy to use and fully stocked. Blazing fast WiFi made remote work a breeze. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Although there is a long term tenant in the lower level, we never saw or heard them. A couple of minor suggestions would be to have a few more kitchen dish towels, and possibly a grill outside. Otherwise, the place was great and we would rent it again for future visits!

Very nice apartment, clean with a backyard and deck. Up one flight of stars with long term tenants below. No problems, close to Columbia city. Neighborhood improvement coming not their yet

The space is bigger than the pictures make it seem! We walked in and were immediately taken aback by the cleanliness and functionality of the space. The kitchen is in great condition and fully functional. The backyard is a gem of a backyard and has a nice shaded porch, two little cafe tables, and is surrounded by trees. My Grandmother, who is a tough judge, loved the space and complimented me on how well she liked it. Quyen was super helpful and guided us to solid local parks for runs or walks. He was also very diligent and was actively fixing the home up with a modern AC system so worry not about those heat waves. Two items of note, this is a duplex and the hosts are diligent in avoiding any conflicts between tenants; in our case, they preferred we don't bring any additional visitors outside of those staying at the Bnb. Additionally, check-out is timed closely with housekeeping, be ready to check out at 11 sharp or communicate your preferred departure time well in advance of departure. The hosts work hard to make your stay a positive experience and it shows.

Well situated in Seattle
We stayed three nights over the Thanksgiving holiday to spend time with our kids who are in grad school. The property is in an older neighborhood, but it is less than 5 mins from Seward Park, which is a great place to walk/jog and enjoy the fantastic views over Lake Washington. The house is well kept and very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need, and the open living room had lots of sitting space for playing games or watching a movie. I would stay here again.

Everything was as represented in the listing. The property was clean and inviting and had everything we needed - including enough space to have alone time. The two times I reached out to Tracy she immediately answered me.

Our family really enjoyed this VRBO! The place was immaculate, and had every amenity you could imagine, from warm, fuzzy throw blankets to a salad-shooter to a fully-stocked space cabinet! The hardwood floors were amazing and beautiful, as were the granite countertops. The carpet in the bedrooms was comfy, and the organization and labeling in the kitchen were appreciated. The backyard was beautiful, with plum and apple trees, which you can help yourself to if you come in the right season!
The hosts were very communicative and responsive. We had a minor maintenance issue, and it was fixed the same day. Yes, it is the upper floor of a duplex, and there is someone below. We generally didn't have any issues - no noise, no problem.
The location isn't the greatest from "money" perspective: if you're expecting the whole neighborhood to be posh, you'll be disappointed. However, it was the perfect location in terms of proximity of everything we wanted to do in Seattle, and we found a host of eateries, grocery stores, and parks in close proximity! We enjoyed the homey and diverse vibe, with lots of ethnic choices for dinner if we didn't want to cook.
The only thing that irked us was the automatic lights in the bathrooms. They are motion activated, and they automatically turn on if they sense motion, and turn off when they don't sense motion for a certain amount of time. This was annoying for a few reasons:
(1) The bathrooms both had amazing skylights which let in lots of light. Turning on the bathrooms lights wasn't necessary, except when you wanted to fix your makeup or do your hair (if then).
(2) If you enjoy long showers at night like I do, then the darned light automatically turns off while you're in the shower, and you're left in the dark to figure out how to turn the darned thing on again.
(3) If you get up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, be prepared to get jolted awake by the !@#$ automatic light!
My recommendation - bring a pad of sticky-notes, which you can cover the motion sensors with. Then you should be able to use the lights like regular lights by using their switches. I know this is a minor peeve of mine, and definitely shouldn't keep you away from the place. Everything else was wonderful!!!

Wonderful place especially large for Seattle Area. Great back yard. Pets are welcome but ours did not come with us this trip. Really nice layout and master bedroom was great distance from the other rooms.. Peaceful and serene. Greatly enjoyed the back patio, and LOVED the big windows in Livingroom and Master bedroom. Washer and Dryer were perfect. Tracy was very responsive to our needs. Thank you!

Tracy was a fantastic host and was excellent with communications with us. The house has a huge, open space kitchen and living room area, which was perfect for our family to gather in each morning and evening. There is a small bedroom with a bunk bed (full bed on the bottom, twin on the top), another small bedroom with a queen size, and then a huge master bedroom with a king size bed and its own bathroom. The place is very well maintained and incredibly clean. Sheets and towels and toiletries were all provided, which minimized our travel bags and/or Target runs once we got there. We happened to be there during the hottest days the Northwest has seen in over 100 years and the air conditioning worked great! Our in-laws even ended up coming over to our rental for dinner since their house (like many in Seattle) doesn't have AC and it was very much needed with 100+ temperatures!
There are a series of carpeted steps (about 15 of them) that you have to go up to access the property, as it is the top floor of a duplex house. Not a big deal for our family, but if you don't like (or can't do) stairs then that could be a problem. There are also signs asking you to be quiet at night, as the house has hardwood floors and if there is a renter in the downstairs unit then it could be noisy for them. The backyard and driveway are also shared with that downstairs unit, so be mindful of that if you're looking for something super private.
Being from a city myself (Washington DC) I would describe the neighborhood as "up and coming". It's not a well-groomed touristy neighborhood (it's mainly just other houses, very similar to this one) but we also didn't feel unsafe walking around during the day (we stayed here because my in-laws live a few blocks north of here in the Columbia City neighborhood). With a young kid, we head to bed early so we didn't wander around the neighborhood at night, but the outside noises were like any other city in the evening - people talking, the occasional siren, random dogs barking, and Seattle apparently really likes fireworks, so we heard lots of those about every night (which was not such a surprise for us as DC likes to do fireworks every night after a baseball game!). If you're from a quiet town or more gated community then this might be a bit too urban a neighborhood for your Seattle visit.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay, have no complaints, and will likely stay here again on our next trip to visit family!

Our stay of three weeks in this spacious, open, and bright 2nd-floor, 3-bedroom flat was wonderful! The hosts are very accessible and responsive and we had no issues or concerns at all. It is very accessible to good restaurants in a wonderfully diverse neighborhood along Ranier Ave. It is close to Seward Park and its wonderful hiking and biking, as well as the smaller Martha Washington Park that is within walking distance (if you enjoy getting exercise walking up and down hills!) Our 3 1/2 year old grandson stayed with us for part of the time and our only concern was the open access to the entrance stairway. It looks like a gate was installed at the top of the stairs at one time and putting one back in would give peace of mind to parents and grandparents staying with young children. Highly recommend staying here!!

This is a shared rental, which was not described. It is the upstairs unit with steep stairs. Back yard is shared, which creates lack of privacy. The rental is very clean and has super comfortable beds. That’s the big plus. But it is in a very sketchy and noisy neighborhood. The dog next door barked incessantly and a mentally ill person could be heard screaming for an hour in the middle of the night. It wasn’t easy to find a Seattle Vrbo rental that allowed dogs, so I appreciate having it for a few days on our trip. But I would avoid staying here again due to the lack of privacy and neighborhood.
