Good choice of cereal, traditional breakfast was perfectly cooked
We found the mattress on the bed hard, but that is a personal preference, not a criticism of the facilities. Nothing compares to your own bed at home ..

Friendly greeting. Very clean room. Comfortable bed. Plenty of car parking space.
I returned to my room a little before midnight and struggled to get to sleep as there was noise in the room next to mine. This went on until 1 am and probably later; when I fell asleep I could still hear talking and laughter.

The Cumbrian Lodge is a warm, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay. The owner, Paul, and his family are incredibly kind and attentive to their guests. The room was lovely, with beautiful views through the rooftop windows.
There is also a guest room with cutlery, a microwave, and other facilities that guests are welcome to use, which is very convenient. I really enjoyed my stay and highly recommend the Cumbrian Lodge!
