I stayed in the room above The Inn. The room is part of the Pennington Hotel. I ate at the hotel, enjoying an excellent dinner and even eggs royale for breakfast. The staff were helpful and friendly. My room had a view over the estuary and I watched a heron waiting for food! My two photos were taken from my bedroom window.
The access to my room was via steep stone stairs outside The Inn. Happily the rain kept away but the short walk to the hotel might be a hazard if it was wet.

Very homely , cottage feel . Bed was very comfortable.it was clean and had everything i needed .
Outside staircase leading up to the room was a bit steep so had to take extra care not to fall and navigating that for someone elderly with reduced mobility would be an issue
