Perfect in every way! I stopped here while completing the Cumbria Way walk. I was made to feel so welcome. After staying at several places along the route Glaramara was the clear winner of the lot. Love this place!

Lovely location and comfortable lounge area
BREAKFAST warm, not hot buffet breakfast.arriving both mornings 40 mins before end of breakfast service.there was no orange juice left 1st morning, no grapefruit segments 2nd morning (did ask staff for some then). Fried eggs dried up on buffet hot plates both mornings and second morning managed to get a few scrapings of baked beans because they had run out. Staff just didn’t seem to keep an eye on restocking breakfast foods. Pleased that we could have vegetarian sausage made for us. For the price we paid didn’t think this was good enough. Other hotels in the area also offer other options for hot dishes eg. Eggs royals.
