The property was extremely neat and clean. It was so quiet, you would never know it is on a busy street.
There was nothing not to like.

Staff were pleasant, not overly friendly nor rude. Basic room, which was all I needed. Housekeeping only cleaned when I requested it, rather than making me feel like I had to let them in to clean even when not wanted.
It was minimally clean but could have been cleaner. Part of the issue is that the place is so old that there are probably stains that just can't be scrubbed clean. It smelled musty in the room and bathroom. Nothing to write home about, but sufficient for my needs.
