About this apartment hotel

Nestled in Newton, this attractive apartment hotel for $390 per night is a great choice for your next trip. This gorgeous 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bathroom suite at The Inn at Newton Highlands is pure luxury. It features a large and inviting living room, spacious bedrooms with private bathrooms, a private 500 sq.ft. deck, and everything else to make your stay comfortable and memorable. This suite is one of several luxury suites in a small boutique Inn which is located in the heart of Newton Highlands in a beautiful, fully remodeled historic building. Careful attention has been paid to preserve the look and charm of the fin-de-siècle 19th-century building, using old archive photographs to replicate the exterior as it once stood. Inside, the building is pure 21st century, with modern rooms, advanced utility systems, and greatly enhanced structural features. The remodeling has been completed in full compliance with Fire, Safety, and Building codes for hotel class buildings. The suite has its own HVAC system, so there’s no air sharing between units. Stas Gavronsky and his wife, Tatiana, are the owners and operators of The Inn at Newton Highlands. The original idea behind the Inn came from Stas's work in healthcare. He wanted to build a beautiful and comfortable place for patients and their families who come to Boston for medical treatments and typically require a longer stay. The Inn provided exactly what was needed: a combination of luxury, safety, and convenience of a hotel with a privacy and coziness of a private apartment. The place is great for business travelers, destination wedding guests, and tourists.

This is a lovely property. Spotless, well-equipped, and very comfortable furnishings. Stas is a thoughtful and attentive host, and graciously met us upon our arrival to show us the apartment. There are many nearby places to dine -- and O’Hara’s pub and a French patisserie across the street were standouts. Many reviewers mentioned the convenience of the train station behind the property. Just a clarification: the train is the aboveground portion of one of Boston’s subway lines (Riverside line), so it’s very quiet compared to a standard train. You can hear the trolley when it comes into the station, but it’s not bothersome in the slightest. We will gladly stay here again on our next trip to Boston. Thanks, Stas!

We just returned from a lovely 5 night stay at Newton Highland Inn Apt #1. Stas was responsive and accommodating. He had a parking spot for us which we greatly appreciated. The unit is very stylish, spotless and comfortable. The location is great in that we were able to walk to get pastry and meals each day. Our favorite places were O’hara’s Food & Spirits, Lakon Paris Patisserie and The Dining Car. Ana’s Taqueria and Cacao were also good. Cute boutiques and salons also nearby. There was some noise from the subway next door but a pair of ear plugs allowed us to sleep just fine. We also had a nice stroll through the quaint neighborhood and nearby lake. This rental is very well cared for and we would stay again if in the area. Thank you Stas for your hospitality!

Believe all the reviews. This is a great rental. Exactly as pictured, located right next to the train, and super cute neighborhood with food right there. The owners are fantastic and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Boston.

From the time we arrived, our host Stas was available and provided us with great information! The train was a great tip and way to see the city and O’Hara’s restaurant across had the best clam chowder in the city! We tried to find one that would rival O’Hara’s however nothing came close. Our rental was comfortable and provided a great getaway just out of the city.

This property has to be one of the cleanest VRBOs I have ever stayed in. It was spacious and the well-equipped kitchen was a plus! Frig was huge and that helped us as we we’re constantly storing food from our outside events. Bedding and towels were soft and clean. The amount of open space in the kitchen, dining and living room was ample for us to not bump into each other. Remember this is city living and this probably one of the best aspects of this apartment. The owner, Stas, was very accommodating and easy to communicate with during our stay. We had no issues with our accommodations or it’s surroundings. Most definitely I am giving 5 out of 5 stars to this VRBO as the accommodations fit our needs perfectly. It was my husband and our adult son staying in this space during our daughter’s wedding and activities. We will stay here anytime we visit Boston.

As a pretty experienced world traveler, I am confident in saying that our week-long stay at the Inn at Newton Highlands was fantastic. The rooms were clean, bright, well-provisioned, and comfortable. The neighborhood is a delightful bonus with cafe's, a bakery, and a small incidentals shop a few steps away. Other shopping was nearby. Getting around Boston was a breeze with the metro next door which made seeing the whole of the city doable without stress. Stas met us as we arrived and could not have been kinder and more helpful. He gave us a good feel for the neighborhood and nearby restaurants and stores and offered advice on strategies for tackling our ambitious itinerary. It was good to know that he was nearby if we needed but that was never the case as the apartment had everything we needed and then some. We will definitely return to the Inn in the future and I recommend it to anyone who is visiting Boston and would like a quiet retreat to return to at the end of the day - with the promise of a fresh croissant and French roast coffee just across the street to get the next day started. Nirvana! Thank you Stas for a joyful and relaxing visit!

Stas met us personally at the property and was gracious in giving us a tour of the apartment. He was helpful in giving us directions and recommendations. The apartment was very clean and well stocked of essentials we need. Having a washer and dryer was an added bonus. We will definitely stay here again when we come back.
