Bethany Beach * 2 Village * - Bear Trap Dunes Resort 6BR, 4.5 Baths, Sleeps Up to 16 In the heart of The Village at Bear Trap Dunes, this three-level spacious 6-bedroom, 4.5-bath row home (with finished basement) is just a short walk from the golf course community's clubhouse with restaurant and The Village Pavilion (home to the community's pools, tennis courts and fitness center). The first floor - or main level - features the living room, dining area, well-equipped kitchen, half bath and master suite, while the second floor - or top level - offers four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The finished basement is home to a bedroom and a full bath, as well as a large family room/recreation area complete with TV viewing area, pool table and foosball. Central air conditioning, washer, dryer and more. 8 TVs, DVD, 5 Blu-rays, Wifi., board games, Keurig, gas fireplace, gas grill, foosball, pool table Note: Garage is available for storage only, not for parking. There is a large community parking lot behind this home. The property uses a programmable thermostat that includes preset temperatures (A/C is 65 degrees and up, while heat is 75 degrees and down), but can be overridden by the guest. Community Amenities & Features: The Village at Bear Trap Dunes surrounds 27 holes of championship golf at Bear Trap Dunes Golf Club. Just three miles to the beach, this exciting golf course community features a fantastic set of amenities, including The Village Pavilion (with indoor pool, outdoor pool, kiddie pool, exercise room, Har-Tru tennis courts, hard surface tennis court, multi-sport court and saunas for homeowners and guests), outdoor pool, playground, summer beach shuttle and clubhouse with restaurant. Note: The Bear Trap Dunes Owners Association charges an optional per person fee for guests ages 4 and older for the use of the community's amenities, including the in-season beach shuttle, pools, tennis and fitness center. This fee varies by the time of year. Cancellation Policy: If Guest wishes to cancel a reservation after Property Manager receives deposit from Rental Guest, then Rental Guest must provide a cancellation notice in writing and receive written confirmation back from the Property Manager. The following refund policy will apply: A) A cancellation notice received from Owner thirty (30) or more days prior to the Check In Date will receive a refund, in full. ** B) If a cancellation notice is received by Property Manager less than thirty (30) days prior to Check In Date but more than 14 days prior to Check In Date, then Guest will receive a 50% refund. ** C) A cancellation notice received less than 14 days prior to check in is not entitled to any rental refund. ** ** The Customer Service Fee, however, is not refundable under sections A, B and C above. Linens: The home will include pillows, blankets, comforters, and mattress covers. However, bed sheets, pillowcases and towels are not provided. Rental Guests can choose to bring their own linens or rent them from one of the local rental services. Outdoor Monitoring: The home may have an outdoor security camera and / or video doorbell installed. If present, these devices are strictly for outdoor security monitoring and safety purposes. COVID-19 Cleaning and sanitizing procedures We have upgraded our procedures and taking extra care in cleaning and sanitizing each vacation home. We follow approved guidelines to ensure each home is carefully sanitized before your arrival. Surfaces are disinfected using approved products. This includes counter tops, frequently touched items like doorknobs, light switches, and remote controls. At Bethany Beach Home Rentals your safety is a top priority. While the bones of this property are good, the ingredients inside are lacking in my opinion. For example: pillows are worn and skimpy. Could not get ice maker to work and no container to collect ice cubes if it did (might of been our error but we did not report this to property mgr - just purchased a couple bags of ice). There were no pot holders - we used our towels to remove items from oven instead. The shower heads must have been 20 years old and gushers. Utensils, plates, etc were lacking. Washer/Dryer room smelled of mildew. Dining room photo shows a table with 6 chairs. In reality, there is a different table with a built in bench seat.The stove and dishwasher are now stainless - nicer probably than the contractor grade in photo. The chairs for the kitchen-breakfast nook do not have seat backs. The little pond outside the front entrance is full of algae - not the fault of the property owners - just an eyesore. Note that there is an extra charge to use the amenities shown. Not sure why these cannot be included in cost of rental and access may be limited if you rent after Labor Day. Having the Dunes golf course is a great bonus. Parking was a challenge in front due to golfers - better in back. Our group also played a local par 3 and executive course nearby - both in excellent shape. The basement game room was the main hangout space with pool table, foosball table and large TV. Bring chalk for the pool cues - none provided. With a few refreshes, I'd recommend!

This was a big townhouse and the layout was good for a diverse age group. Suggestions are to inform guests of the location of the entry door because we thought we needed a key until we found the back door. Additionally, sharing the location of parking would help. Hot water supply seemed good for everyone and the dual heating- a/c unit was great. It would be great if you could install hooks throughout the bathrooms and bedrooms to allow for towel hanging, etc.

This property met all of our needs for a wonderful family vacation. It's located in the beautiful community of Bear Trap Dunes, and is just a short drive from the beach. Also, the owner was very helpful and responsive in helping us with an issue during our stay. Would highly recommend this rental to others.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. It was so beautiful and had enough space to provide for 4 families. We all enjoyed the basement where we played pool most of the nights. The travel distance to any beach was either 10 minutes away or under 30 minutes to Bethany Beach or Ocean City. That made our vacation so easy and convenient for travel. Hopefully we come back soon in the near future. Thank you again for letting us use your home.
