The location was excellent. Close to synagouges , the old city, artist colony. The hotel itself is really beautiful. The food was excellent. The pool is beautiful
Although the staff were nice, they were not always helpful. They did not have knowledge about the local sites. We asked for directions to the Citadel, and they said, "I dont know, I'm not from around here". Also, we managed with our luggage, the hotel has lots of steps as in tradition with Tzfat, but, nobody asked if we need help-which would have been nice. While juggling drinks and plates back to our table at the dining room, no one offered to help. This is not an inexpensive hotel, staff should be a bit more in tune with customer service.
While the bathroom in the room was nice, it did not have a proper shower. Only a tub and a hose that you had to hold if you wanted to shower, otherwise the water was all over the bathroom

Nice rooms, modern design and gorgeous views of the mountains.
Long way’s walk to the rooms especially if you’re in the other building. There is no elevator and you need to shlep down and up-it’s quite a walk. The staff was not good to me. They did not respect my time or my concerns. Check-in on a Friday afternoon was incredibly long and for no reason at all. You can see enormous lines waiting to check in with fights ensuing; in addition, apparently Dan has a policy to charge vat (tax) even for tourists if even one child’s visa slip is not presented (normally only the person making the reservation needs to present a passport and tourist visa) and although they said they we would refund the vat if I later produced it, they did not and they wouldn’t even reply to my several emails and comments.
