View from room. It is northwest orientation, we watch sunset from room. Distance from the sea is 15 m. Vanesa from reception is very useful and polite.

Rooms at Veya Maradiso are very spacious, beds are big, a lot of rooms have a balcony which is very convenient for drying your clothes. Bed pillows could've been more comfortable but overall they were fine. Hotel is literally next to the beach so even if the weather isn't at its best (like it wasn't during our stay) you can go to the beach for a quick swim.
Staff is very friendly and helpful, when you check-in they give you a bracelet you can use to put drinks and meals on the beach to the room number and pay all of the things at the checkout. A bunch of stuff along the Njivice beachfront is owned by Amines so it can be convenient that you use the bracelet.
In general, hotel is okay but it is way more suitable for families rather than couples.
Meals (especially dinner) could've been better. Don't get me wrong, there are a LOT of options, but the hotel really does aim for the quantity and not the quality. Since there are a lot of options all of the smells in the kitchen mix into a big pile of something that is not very pleasant. Breakfast is okay-ish but dinner really isn't worth it.
Also, hotel is very big, meaning there are plenty of people staying at it which means that the dinning area will be crowded almost all the time.

The hotel is easy to reach, has 24 hours reception and there is a parking lot just next to the hotel. The hotel is located just on the shore line and it is very relaxing to see the water from your window. The service was there even though I was very late. The lady at the reception was great and helpful.
Nothing, everything was as described and all my requests were met. I could arrive at the hotel after midnight and leave early at 4 to catch the first boat to Cres.

- location is very central, close to the beach and to the “city center”
- the staff is friendly
- free parking close by, albeit outside
- clean (although outdated facilities)
- the food is really awful, dinner especially (unsure where all these people saying the food was great were eating but could not have been here)- every day pretty much same food, overcooked pasta, tasteless, 4 different basic vegetables, nobody told us there was drinks included and where to get them
- very slow and unorganized food service (takes ages to find a table, then you need to find one person to clean it and second person to give you cutlery, absurd)
- there is just a tiny part of outside terrace that is utilized for dinner and breakfast, while there is a huge outside EMPTY terrace (belonging to the lounge so you can’t sit there)
- people are smoking on this tiny breakfast terrace so while you enjoy your food you get smoked through
- outdated facilities (for this price they could really do some renovations), many rooms have just a window so you can’t dry anything
