Easy walking distance from the station, area seemed safe. Traditional German city hotel. Friendly chap on reception when we arrived. Will stay here again if we are passing through Cologne.

All in all, I thought everything were good except what I didn't like. Read below.
#1. On the booking.com, it lists itself to be equipped with A/C. However, only 1/2 of the rooms come with A/C, according to the staff. I got a room without one, and, guess what, a mosquito snuck into my room through the open window (too hot in the room during my stay in mid-August 2025, so no other options).
#2. My room didn't come with security vault. Perhaps it's just me, but not having a place to securely store passport, etc. wasn't really cool feeling.
