easy check in and out
It was ok just kind of plain. My only complaint was it was more expensive then any of the other places we stayed. But we didnt have any choice. Thats all that was available.

I liked that the Spruce lodge was located outside of town by 5-8 minutes, so it was quiet, but you definitely need a car to stay there. It is close to Exit Glacier. Hiking everywhere.
Salmon Bake restaurant across the street was very good.
Very quiet area and trees everywhere.
Black out curtains to combat 18 hours of daylight in August in AK, sleepingin was easy. Screens on windows so you could open for fresh air without mosquitoes.
Large TV, although we never turned it on.
Kitchen facilities, so nice to have plates, glasses, etc. Take napkins/ paper towels, as there weren't any. Very enjoyable stay, I have already recommended it to others

Nice and modern rooms. Location was great. The staff was great.
It looks like it is still under construction so it lacked the lodge amenities and vibes. If you’re looking a place to sleep and that’s it it’s ok.

The staff was nice. The location was good easy to get in and out of the hotel room with the code.
The bed itself was very bad as if someone had made cuts in the mattress under the padding.
There were no lamps next to the bed so the lighting was from four inset lights in the ceiling-lamps would've been nice. The sliding bathroom door didn't work real well..
