The room was a very good size clean and tidy, could of done with top up on tea milk sugar ect, breakfast and evening meal would have been a nice touch, location was lovely peaceful and quite, great place to relax after a hard days work,

The classic look and the surroundings of green.
The bathroom was not very clean and the furniture was very dusty.
A lot of sockets did not work.

Clearly a property in the throws of a refurb but unless you are a hotel chain with buckets of money it is a slow process.
An original 1840’s Victorian house that is gradually being restored, the outside does look run down, there is clearly signs of work being done as to the right of reception is a seating room, to the left appears to be a dinning room, both have decorating equipment in them.
Tall character ceilings, original style door & ceiling architraves, they are in need of repair / painting though.
Stairwells & bedroom carpet appear new along with all the doors to corridors & bedrooms which along with the front door have code locks supplied by email.
A lot of the windows that I could see had been replaced with upvc double glazed units.
Grounds are around the property appears to being cut back but not ready as a garden area yet.
After seeing the outside I was a little sceptical but the room was clean, carpets clean, bedding clean & comfortable, bed bases looked new as well.
A comprehensive tray of tea, coffee, milk & biscof biscuits, kettle & a tv, handwash soap only in the bathroom so bring your own shower / bath gel.
Quite location up a drive so not near a road, CCTV cameras on the outside in many places, 5 - 10 mins safe pavement walk into town.
Lack of plug sockets even though I did find another hidden behind the bed
Bedside table lamp needed as the main ceiling light is huge & as bright as the sun.
The 4 tiles at the back of the shower were all cracked, not a big job.
