This is a stylish hotel with charming, well trained staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. The fusion of Punjabi and British decor is quirky and the menu is superb. The hotel kindly made us aware that there would be a wedding on the Saturday or we would have stayed for another night with pleasure. On the edge of the Cotswolds, the hotel is a wonderful base to explore the area. Our room was spacious, the superking bed very comfortable and Rituals toiletries in the shower room were a treat.
There is nothing to dislike about this hotel. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Breaxfast very good choice, catered for everyone, room was to a high standard could not fault it, excellent tea coffee machine.

Nice white towels and linen in room
Room was clean
the cooked breakfast was good
did not have dinner
Heatwave and the room was super hot with only a fan to try and cool it down. The water in the room was warm because it was so hot
Nothing was done to try and combat the heat by putting the fan on before guests went to the room or offer cold water at the reception .
Decor was very black and grey and felt more like the 80s and tacky and not very Boutique at all for such a lovely building and in 2026 was disappointing .
Continental breakfast offering was poor
Bed was not the most comfortable quite hard
Even the 'Garden View' was patches of artificial grass which looked poorly and cheaply done which we felt was reflected throughout the whole hotel. Sorry
