It was very nice with modern rooms and facilities.
The pool area was nice although the water was a little dirty.
The Cenote tour did not go very well initially. The driver phoned in sick so the hostel gave us money and sent us to the collectivo station, luckily we had someone who was a Spanish speaker with us otherwise we would have really struggled. The collectivo line was very long so we phoned the hostal and they ended up ordering a taxi for us, I don’t know why this wasn’t done in the first place. Once we got to the cenotes the tour was great but the transport should have been handled better.

The activities were nice, the common room or bar area is great to meet people and the quiet hours were respected.
The rooms were quite stuffy, the bathrooms were smelly (especially the toilet area) albeit clean enough for my standards.

I liked the location and facilities. It's spacious and cool hostel with a bar, rooftop and plenty of space to chill. Staff was attentive. The private room I had was great, a bit small but really nice.
My biggest problem were the mosquitoes and not sleeping for 2 nights. The room had the mosquito net but it obviously wasn't done right or something. I told them the first day and that I probably can't stay my whole reservation since I can't sleep there. I asked for a cancellation and refund at least for my last day because I left. I think it was a reasonable request from my side (they came and saw all the mosquitoes but couldn't help me get rid of them). However, they swiftly refused my request without much thinking.
There was also bunch of hair left in the shower floor.
