Nestled on a quiet, tree-lined street, our spacious suite offers a serene retreat from the bustling city, while still being conveniently located near transit and parks. Featuring real hardwood floors and a built-in fireplace, our 900 sq. ft. suite boasts two cozy bedrooms, each with a queen bed, plenty of storage, and high-quality linens. The living space is equipped with a comfortable sectional sofa, which doubles as a pull-out bed for two, and a dining table that seats four. You'll also find a 55-inch flat screen TV, Apple TV, and high-speed WiFi to keep you entertained and connected during your stay. In the fully-equipped kitchen, you'll find everything you need to prepare a delicious meal, including a dishwasher and Nespresso machine for your convenience. We also provide kitchen staples, spices, and all the utensils you'll need. The full bathroom features a shower and is stocked with plenty of fluffy towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a hair dryer. Guests will have private access to the entire lower level of our character home, as well as shared access to the laundry facilities. We pride ourselves on providing a comfortable and welcoming experience, so if there is anything you need that isn't listed here, just ask!

Great host, the unit is equipped with everything you need for a self sustained (cooking for yourself) or eating out all meals. Comfortable beds, great neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again if our budget was the same. As others have mentioned, the bathroom is very small. Not a big deal except if two are trying to get ready to go out at the same time.

We enjoyed our stay in Vancouver. The appartement was wel appointed, clean and there was enough space for a family of four. Clear communication about arrival and departure and easy on street parking. The bathroom is a bit small, but worked fine for us. Plenty of options for public transport nearby and a supermarket within walking distance.

This was a really comfortable place for our family to stay during our first trip to Vancouver. In a quiet neighborhood, walking distance to some restaurants and shops, and easy street parking, cute house with pretty landscaping. Nice shower, laundry, and everything we needed in the kitchen. The only downside was that we could hear the home residents walking around upstairs, and the first night we were there, there were up and active at 4:30am and we could hear their footsteps, tv, and voices. That was the only night we had that issue, though. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Beautiful basement restoration of 100 year old craftsman house in neighborhood within walking distance to many ethnic restaurants. Property immaculately restored. Electric fireplace and sound system plus washer and dryer a big plus.

Our stay started with a few issues which Steven very quickly addressed. The accommodations were very comfortable and provided everything we needed. The steps at the entrance can be difficult for elderly persons. Steven did say he will be relocating the entrance in the future.

Clean, cute, plenty of amenities. Cons: beds are cheap - the slats came out of place. However, The host was very accommodating of letting us keep our luggage in their laundry room after check out.

Check in was very smooth and our host was quick to respond and very accommodating to allow us to leave some luggage before check in. The space is lovely, modern, and very clean. The ceiling height was more than enough for me (6’3”) which was fantastic. The beds were comfortable and the quiet neighbourhood made for great sleeps. There is a grocery store nearby and multiple bus lines that made getting around very smooth. This is the nicest space I’ve stayed in and was just what we needed for our trip!

We had a marvelous 5 day stay in this newly renovated, spacious basement apartment. It's location was conveniently located a short Uber ride to all Vancouver areas of interest. I strongly recommend this property and I'm not surprised to see it solidly booked through the summer.

Spacious and well-appointed apartment. Small bathroom but nice. Big towels! Did not feel like a basement. Quiet neighbourhood but close to busy, active main streets. Restaurants and shopping nearby, as well as bus routes.

Overall we had a great stay at Steven's property. The basement suite was spacious enough for two adults and two young kids. The beds were comfortable and the suite had a nice cozy feel. The house is in a great area allowing a quick commute to downtown Vancouver, the North Shore or to the highway to head east. There is a grocery store close by as well as coffee shops and restaurants nearby. The kitchen was generally well stocked and the bedrooms were a great size. The bathroom is definitely small. It was hard to fit more than one person in the bathroom at a time. The shower door was awkward and made it difficult to bathe the kids without getting wet. I would say that a more thorough cleaning of the bathroom was in order prior to our arrival.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Steven’s suite for two nights and were impressed by how clean and nice everything looked. The amenities were great, the suite was spacious (and very aesthetically pleasing) and Steven even prepared a nice little booklet with local information. We really enjoyed our stay. This is a really cute 2 bdrm with all the amenities. Great communication extremely accommodating. Comfy beds slept well. Beautiful quiet neighborhood couldn’t ask for more!
