About this condo rental
Situated in Solana Beach, this charming condo for $397 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Enjoy ocean views from the spacious living room and kitchen or step out onto the balcony to search for dolphins. One of only a few properties in this area with air conditioning, this corner oceanfront condo will be one you'll want to return to every year. High ceilings add to the bright and airy feel. Fully stocked, recently remodeled kitchen make meals a breeze. The entire property has been repainted in spring of 2021 and the property has new tinted windows, flooring and sofa. Two bedrooms include a king bed and a queen bed. and smart TV's in both bedrooms. Very close to pool and spa, or head over to the courts for a game of tennis. The beach access stairs are located adjacent to the complex, easy access for a fun beach day! Excellent location in Solana Beach where you can walk to restaurants and shopping. It's just a short walk to one of the two community pools and just a bit further to the beach access where you can rejuvenate and enjoy a walk in the sand. The complex offers two tennis courts, 2 pools (1 heated year-round) and 2 spas and beach access as well as lovely koi ponds and water features. This charming seaside community is within walking distance to Fletcher Cove, Dog Beach, Belly Up Tavern, Cedros Shopping District, the train station, and many excellent restaurants. Super close to Del Mar Racetrack and Fairgrounds. It is also conveniently located thirty minutes to downtown San Diego and many famous attractions such as Sea World, Legoland, and the San Diego Zoo. Convenient parking in secure underground garage. Professionally laundered hotel quality linens and bath towels are provided. Our properties are cleaned, disinfected, and sanitized in accordance with CDC guidelines. In accordance with Solana Beach regulations, this property has a 6 night minimum. Location, spaciousness, household supplies, linens, storage amount, and beds were all fabulous!Fireplace non-functional two years in a row, insufficient lighting in living room, ineffient heating system, non-insulated glass doors and windows with lots of drafts, lack of sealing at doors leading to drafts, all very poorStubbs responsive, but HOA doesn’t oversee issues.Price of rental seems high when you are living with the above issues, though the location makes it an overall wonderful experience. However, we won’t be returning to this unit due to issues stated.

Incredible views from the deck and even from inside the condo due to the long stretch of floor to ceiling windows and glass doors. The second level elevation was perfect - no one walking in front of us and close to the ocean. Great privacy - close to beach steps - beautifully landscaped - very quiet. We’re coming back for more.

This place is great. I’d consider it a “find”. We hope to return.
Perfect location. Good beach access using the adjacent public access. Beautiful views. Nice furnishings and appliances. Good Wi-Fi. Good cable TV. excellent blue tooth speakers for your iPhone. Absolutely immaculate upon our arrival.
Here’s a little information to help future guests:
The parking is good-2 underground spaces. But it’s a long walk to the unit with many steep stairs. So try not to overpack.
There are 2 ways to get to the unit from your car:
1) The long way. Bring your clicker and enter and exit, on foot, through the vehicle gate.
2) The short cut. Enter and exit using the pedestrian gate.
#2 is shorter than #1 but with #2 there are narrow steep steps. If you’re wheeling your stuff this way does not work.
The unit comes with a good basket with wheels. I recommend using it. But park the wheeled basket by the creek. Don’t try to wheel the cart up and down the condo’s stairs. Carry your stuff up and down the condo’s stairs and load and unload the basket there by the creek. Then wheel the cart from the creek to and from your car using the long way (#1).
Keep in mind there’s a 10:00 am check out time which they repeatedly warn is strictly enforced. I found this very challenging. The instructions tell you to clean the place before you leave. Cleaning and moving all our stuff out before 10:00 was really tough. You should try to get a late check out if you can. (We didn’t ask for one). Do as much as you can the day before.
Don’t plan on BBQing. You’re not allowed to bring your BBQ and the unit does not have one.
Don’t plan on using the fireplace. The instructions tell you not to use it. In fact from outside I saw that the chimney is covered with what looks like a painter’s drop cloth.
All in all we really enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend this place.

Great place!
Amazing views and close to restaurants and grocery stores. Beaches are great, but a long staircase to walk down to the beach. Unit had everything you needed for your stay. The only thing I wish it had was a grill. Overall, great place!

First of all, the condo was just as described, except for one minor detail. It had previously had a grill on the terrace, which was no longer there. I got over this disappointment, as I love to grill many dinners, because the condo was fabulous. Not only was the ocean and beach view so expansive and heavenly, with the ocean breezes being heard from the back bedrooms, but it was fully stocked.
Usually, when you check into a condo, you find just enough cleaning and every day needs like paper toweling and detergent, but this condo had enough supplies for our entire 3 month stay and much longer.
When the fireplace was available to us (a leak was found after December’s huge rainfall and will be fixed after we leave), we enjoyed sitting on the comfortable couch, and watching movies.
The condo was beautifully decorated and very quiet all of the time. It was located close to a pool and hot tub and very close to a stairway which led to the lovely beach below.
It was very clean and easy to maintain.
Jennifer, Kevin, and Tyler were very accommodating and pleasant to work with whenever we had a request. Jerry, the handyman, who visited a few times was timely and efficient with the needed tasks we had needed.
This condo is in walking distance to CVS, the post office, and to many shops and restaurants within the are. We especially enjoyed walking to Claire’s on Cedros for a hearty and delicious breakfast. We enjoyed driving to Delmar to eat dinner at En Fuego Cantina and Grill or north to Leucadia to dine at Le Papagayo. Walking the trails and beach at Torrey Pines State Park is a must! Don’t forget to drive over for a short hike to Annie’s Canyon.
We have booked this condo for next winter because we have thoroughly enjoyed it. Except for a few minor issues, we absolutely loved our time here.
