Excellent breakfast, friendly staff, aircon and pool very welcome in the heat, interesting wine tour
Very few local restaurants, one mediocre at Moulis, one very sophisticated in Margaux, but both a drive away (Restaurant list provided needs updating.) Small supper menu at the Chateau was very helpful for one of our 3 evenings, but wider menu choice would be welcome.

Beautiful château! Beautiful décor!
Very friendly staff who were very accommodating.
Our room for 3 adults was very spacious, comfortable, air conditioned, equipped with electric shutters and nicely decorated. It was located in the annexe which was made very clear at the time of booking, but we were able to enjoy the “château experience” by being encouraged to use the library and the main dinning room whenever we wanted. The pool and garden area was very clean and peaceful.
Although, there is no restaurant on site, we were able to order a lovely charcuterie and cheese board, croque-monsieur and chips, and a Château Meyre bottle of wine at cave price!
Excellent wine tour with patient and knowledgeable staff.

The castle itself was very charming, suite was really nice, we felt like royalty
The service itself, maybe coz I used to service in Dubai, but I'm not very picky in general, and what surprised us, it's that room wasn't cleaned the next day, no refill with water, no changing towels..this small thing really put negative mark on our mood. But, during checking out hours, they have compensated this mistake by offering us breakfast. Also about breakfast itself, the cost it's 35 euro and it's not worth it at all, better to find some cafe around and to have nice breakfast dish.
But in general location is nice, it's very charming and you can watch the moon from terrace, which is really beautiful
