The hotel was very clean and the staff were all very friendly. The view over the river was tremendous. We watched the Sun going down in the evening and it was really special. Eating meals on the terrace in the evening and at breakfast made the stay memorable.
Signage pointing the way in from town was a little sparce but we enjoyed the challenge.

Superb location inside the citadel with a restaurant and terrace overlooking the estuary, perfect for watching the sun go down over the water. It has a lovely pool. So much to see inside the citadel during the day and very quiet within the hotel grounds. Blaye is a must visit. Forgotten clothing was promptly returned, thank you!
Pool furniture badly needs replacing. The breakfast was unexciting.

Fantastic location. Lovely views across the Gironde. Bathroom was excellent.
Very basic rooms and quite noisy due to very thin doors. Outside veranda looked like it needed some maintenance. Menu was very limited almost to the extent of finding something suitable to choose from.
