The staff, location
Unfortunately no air conditioning , they gave you a fan, but in this particular bedroom you could not open the shutters as it was in full view of people passing so no air flowing

A very pleasant and comfortable hotel close to the ferry and restaurants. Very good breakfast.

The staff were delightful and very welcoming and friendly. The room was lovely. The location is quiet but convenient with parking close by. Breakfast was unusual and delicious. Loved it.

Good location near ferry, which we took the morning following our stay. Very helpful with garage for our 4 bikes. Very nice breakfast.
Although check-in was clearly stated as 4PM, the property was locked and inaccessible until 4:10PM, a serious problem because it was rainy and windy and cold and the four of us had just traveled 50+ miles on bikes in that rain. I expect a "3-star" property to have someone on staff during the day so that arriving before check-in (and 4PM is a bit on the late side for that, I must say), we could have come inside and waited while out of the elements. To make matters worse, 2 of us were treated to cold showers when the hot water ran out for us almost immediately.
