Garden Beach Bungalows was my favorite place I stayed in Zanzibar. The manager, Bokar, and his staff are all friendly and welcoming. They booked my friend & I massages with an excellent massage therapist who came to the property. They also arranged a memorable boat excursion for snorkeling with an amazing lunch prepared on a quiet white sand beach included. The location is excellent..the ocean is right there with beautiful sunrises. The room was spacious and clean. The property is well maintained and the restaurant has good food and excellent service. They even had a wonderful local band performing our last night there. A delightful surprise. The ater in Zanzibar is the most beautiful I have ever seen. Crystal clear & clean and the most beautiful blue and turquoise colors. The temperature is also perfect. Snorkeling is a must do! I highly recommend the Garden Beach Bungalows for your stay in Jambiani. I do hope to return.

The dressing cupboards were dusty and there was no msoquito net for the beds or mosquito mesh for the windows.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food at Lost Soles is fantastic. It's a nice location on the beach. Easy to walk to other locations
The rooms are a bit dated and missing a few essentials. It would have been nice to have had hand soap and water supplied. We did receive 500 mL of water for our 7 day stay. Unfortunately the island was experiencing some issues with their beer shipments so there wasn't any available. Wifi had been knocked out for a few days as well. We were able to find both of these along some other places on the beach.
