About this house rental
At True North Cabin Rentals we have 5 cabin’s together with nice lake views from the 1 acre resort property. Cabin #4 is a open loft, two bedroom, one bath cabin for rent at beautiful Higgins Lake that sleep 10. Included you will find a 1 queen bed in each bedroom, 2 full & 1 twin bed in the loft, couch, tv/dvds, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, glassware, silverware, pots and pans linens, towels and everything else you will need for your fun filled summer vacation, along with a fire pit, BBQ grill, hammock and horse shoes. A nice shallow sandy beach and Public dock just steps from the cabin. The Silver Dollar Bar just one block up the street and party store less than a mile away. Cabin is located at 119 Thorpe Ave. Higgins Lake MI. Pontoons, Fishing & Ski Boats, Jet Skis, Paddleboards, Kayaks, ATVs, Scooters, and UTVs available for rent at a discounted price for all renters through GO FAST Rentals that is also one block away.

There was o my 1 accessible beach that we were told we can use by host mother. We got kicked out saying we had to be a vet to use the beach by a rude man

"We had a great stay at this cottage. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the lake and close to everything we needed. The cottage was very clean, well-maintained, and nicely updated while still feeling cozy and comfortable.One thing we really appreciated was the ample parking. We had trucks with trailers and had no issues with space, which can be hard to find at many cottage rentals.The owner was fantastic to deal with, providing excellent communication before and during our stay and making the whole process easy and stress-free.Overall, a great place to stay, and we would definitely book again."

Overall a good property to stay at for the price and close proximity to lake, also was clean and had air conditioning, but lacks several basic features. No locks on any bedroom or bathroom doors. No hooks/shelving in bedrooms or bathroom to hang towels/clothes. Toilet lid doesn’t stay up falls down so pee on seat, bathroom hand towel hook has been glued but still falls in trash when trying to hang towel back. Shower head has no handle for washing little ones feet. Again realize this is simple camping living but told owner about several of these things last year and none were corrected.
