I booked in Advance. I had no additional cash. When I arrived and after I had called to try to cancel due to transportation issues..the clerk on the phone said I could not receive any refund...
When, I provided my I.D. and signed the paperwork, the clerk than requested a $50.00 deposit. I was extremely tired and I explained I did not have $50.00 for the deposit. She than told me to leave because she could not allow me into a room unless I paid the deposit. Please explain is that in the fine print of the serviced Booking.com offers? To have $50.00 for deposit?
I honestly can't explain the distraught rest of the story..
