Breakfast not much on the menu

The location was perfect.
Unable to get food or drink once breakfast has ended and dinner began (11-16:00). Rooms were small and in need of TLC. Most of the furniture was IKEA.
Spa is only open on request. The hotel is vacant of staff.
It was not encouraged to use the bar. I had asked for a dessert in the bar with a cocktail but was refused by the waiter. Lots of elements fell very short of a 4 star experience at a 5 star price.
