The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was nice. The receptionist was friendly and the communication from the hotel before our nights stay was good. We were in Gainsborough to watch an event at the King's Theatre, the hotel was a great central location and cheaper than the other chain hotels nearby.
The reception and stairs were quite dated and grubby.

Simple, well provided hotel rooms. No frills. Excellent value for a brief, short notice stay.
Would be nice if it had a breakfast room.

* Great central location
* Spacious room with chairs and a coffee table to sit while enjoying a cuppa
* modern bathroom( although painting not finished on door)
* Each bed had its own bedside table and night light
* duvet covers clean but some stitching coming undone
* After reading some of the reviews we were pleasantly surprised
* Hotel reception and corridors needs uograding feels very dated
* The room felt like it was mid decoration no finishing touches
* Cleanliness could be better - bath had scum marks, carpet needs a better vacuum on it, bed bases had some marks which need a good scrub
