It was a beautiful villa. The beds were comfortable and the Villa was clean. Big canoe is a vast winding mountain resort where your GPS does Not work and you WILL get lost. It served its purpose for our stay.
It was next to impossible to find. Yvette was very helpful with her directions but, it is extremely easy to get lost in there. I was traveling with my father who is 82yrs old and I had no idea the amount of steps to get into the villa. Thankfully he was good enough health to do it. There are several outside lights not working along the stairs to get into the Villa and I was afraid all of us would fall on the extremely uneven and steep stairs.

The views were amazing!! That was the best part. I went up for a 3-day online meditation retreat, and it was good for that--I barely say another person. I also loved the electric fireplace. WiFi was decent (it got wobbly during the storms). The A/C worked well and was easy to adjust. Wonderful stay overall despite inconveniences. Didn't get to try the pool due to pouring rain most of the time.
The kitchen was well-stocked in terms of equipment, but most short-term rentals with coffee maker and tea kettle will have a small supply of tea or coffee or sugar ;even in packets. Or cooking oil or spray. Had to drive all the way through to get to a store with such things. The size of the property was both good and inconvenient. I found the beds so-so. Getting into and out of the parking space scraped the muffler and the front bumper.

Third time staying, we always love the area
Third time staying and this time our room was just very dusty and didnt feel clean, very dated , lots of spiders inside everywhere
