Lovely building. Comfortable room . Easy location to find

I really liked this place.
My wife is convinced there is a ghost in our room. Our bathroom light came on & off multiple times during the night. My toiletaries were knocked off the bathroom ledge during the night onto the floor.
Unusually the owner told us at check in that if the bath comes on during the night not to think it was a ghost. But since we didn’t use the bath I never told my wife about this.
If you search up this hotel it is rumoured to have a ghost named Mrs skillet, who dies in thew place in the late 1890’s although she is said to frequent a different room. My wife seems to think the ghost’s name is Cathy, but we could not find anyone historically called Cathy skillet.
Anyway don’t be scared off by a ghost story as the ghost is friendly. And this hotel is excellent. Great facilities & food.

The breakfast was delicious, fresh, pleasing to the eye and nutritionally balanced. I asked for porridge which wasn’t on the menu
and the cook made it happen.

Our room , the moonbeam, was lovely and modern, Comfortable bed, nice linens and bed side lamps. Sliders to the porch with chairs , nice spot for morning coffee but discuss access to kuerig machine in the lobby of main building ….doors were locked …till 7:30.
The area was quiet.
In the evening we enjoyed a delicious meal at the Inn's restaurant.
Also just next door is Molly's pub serving local brews and crafted cocktails….nice place .
The rocky beach is a two minute walk away.
Having been a breakfast waitress, I ached for the one woman trying to wait on all the tables. (You just want to pitch in ….and get everyone a coffee at least)
This may be temporary ,everyone was advertising for help. But it was not comfortable or pleasant for any of the guests. Folks were kind and understanding but the room rate is high for this kind of B and B experience . The quality of the a la carte breakfast items was good but don’t be in a hurry to get on the road.
