Breakfast - classic continental experience, you've been to one, you have seen them all, nothing to write home about (I rank it as good - it is reliable staple instead of some novelty experience that might make your holiday different kind of sh... bad) Drinks (paid for) - barman did not go easy on alcohol (which is good) Private pool - big, not olympic level but you can have some decent workout if you try. AC in rooms - reliably blast freezing air and keep it stable. Any reported issues - fixed or addressed very quickly. We arrived at night (after midnight'ish) and what was waiting for us was complimentary cold plate - sandwiches, apples, some pasta and drinks, all in generous amounts. Beach is very close, short stroll and you are there, sadly it is pebble/rocky one but that is no fault of hotel itself (take some waterproof sandals, otherwise you will experience foot massage you did not subscribe for) We rented a car with receptionist help - quick call, and she arranged car rental rep to arrive with our car in tow (you can agree to leave it at the airport - makes exploring the island much easier since you can time everything just right). While town is some ways from hotel, there are restaurants a stroll away (or a very short car ride).

We were welcomed by front desk person, our guide to rooms, and massive roach. It's (roaches) reincarnations appeared twice more, in bath and in front of the room over the course of the weekend. We took two different rooms - one with pool and one without, there wasn't a massive price difference but quality was substantially in favor of pool house. Aside if the fact the non-pool room was definitely on the older side, it lacked pool towels and bathrobes; some of the stuff like soaps, toilet paper and whatnot was also different. Private pool itself is big enough to do some actual swimming, however it was chlorinated to such level our eyes stung. Paint on the bottom of the pool was peeling as well, felt like kelp.

Die Anlage ist generell wirklich schön und gepflegt. Das Personal super freundlich, trotzdem, dass leider viele Gäste kein Bitte/Danke kennen 😢 Abendunterhaltung abwechslungsreich und dennoch nicht zu aufdringlich, wenn man etwas Ruhe bevorzugt! Tischtennis, Poolbillard & gut ausgestatteter Fitnessraum inbegriffen! Beim Essen sollte für Jeden etwas dabei sein, Hauptgerichte variieren täglich.

Einzig der „Naturstrand“ könnte ein wenig mehr gepflegt werden…. Naturbelassen grundsätzlich toll, aber hier könnte dennoch nachgebessert werden!

It was very pretty, good location and food was nice.

The fact that it's 5 star and the bath looked like it had burn holes in and we had a massive ants nest in the room, all my clothes and bags were full of ants and the hotel just said 'sorry we can put some ant spray down' I don't feel that's good enough for a 5 star hotel .....
