Localização perfeita para uma experiência prolongada na ilha de Skye: vista para o mar e um braço de mar com uma falésia do outro lado. Muito perto do farol de Neist Point. A casa está muito bem equipada para uma família com duas crianças que quer passar algum tempo de qualidade em casa e fazer algumas refeições para além do pequeno almoço. Estacionamento para o carro em segurança e protegido das ovelhas omnipresentes.
É difícil apontar coisas das quais não gostamos pois correspondia ao que procurávamos: uma casa de campo, numa localização remota, com o conforto das casas modernas. Poderia ser mais fácil controlar a climatização da casa.

Beautiful house spectacular scenery very comfortable with all modern amenities in abundance. It even has a den with board games and DVD player so u are occupied on rainy days !
It's very isolated so u feel completely abandoned especially after dark. U need to stock up on supplies and essentials as it's almost impossible to get anything post 5 pm. Water pressure was less in the down stairs bathroom. The property manager was unavailable for most of the trip. We got in around 8 pm in moderate rain and couldn't get the front door open. He didn't answer the phone and sent brief responses via sms. From the next day he would not pick up phone or reply to sms

There is nothing better than having a house to stay in where your neighbors and sheep, horses, and cows. The house was the comforts of home without being home. The house was wonderfully clean, the kitchen was well stocked with any pots, pans, or equipment you may need to prepare meals. Just make sure you research a grocery store well in advance before heading out to Skye. The beds were comfy, the living space was wonderful for settling in at night, and the window nook was a great place to start the day.
Getting the water temperature just right for showering was a bit tricky.

The beds we’re comfortable and the guides for how to use everything in the house were excellent. Spacious.
Getting to it is nerve wracking with lots of dangerous pot holes and there is a gate one must open towards the road in order to park. There is sheep dung everywhere on the road and front part of driveway where one needs to get out of car to open the gate. We also could not figure out the front door lock with key. It’s also a very remote area of the island.
