When you enter your room- you will be excited about the view, the room is recently renovated, clean, nice smell, bathroom looked fantastic.
Previously I was a cleaner, so I can say- it was absolutely pristine!
Stuff was so nice, we used bbq on the side where cars are parked, we forgot thongs by the way, but stuff shared theirs.
After 8 you can request for a fire pit with a sea view.
And we slept so well.
I didn’t like that linens were not 100 % cotton
And that the bed was too noisy

This location is about 12 miles north of Baddeck on St Ann’s Bay. Nothing in St Ann’s but a lunch/dinner restaurant next door. On the Cabot Trail so that was convenient but just be aware this isn’t in the cute town of Baddeck that has a lot of restaurants, stores and a lovely harbor.
We had a two bedroom full kitchen “cottage” - a suite right off the main lobby. It was certainly adequate in every way, but the shower was pitiful. You have to stand against the wall beneath the shower head to get wet. Little water pressure.
This motel is surely economical and the owners are very friendly and helpful. The old adage - you get what you pay for remains true.

Location and staff were good. My only complaints were the carpet, the softness of the bed, and the humidity. Still it was good value for the money in this location. And the view was very nice.
