It was historic with beautiful dining and sitting rooms. The hostess was very welcoming.
Needed to make sure the light was on before going down the steps to the bathroom.

Owner was really sweet and made a fantastic breakfast (as it should be for $20 pp!) Bed sheets and covers exceptionally comfortable. Parking was super close & secure. Pretty garden in front.
I suppose it's because it's an older property, but no outlets near bed. Smell of laundry detergent overwhelming in bed - but eventually you become "nose-blind". Hardly anywhere to put our stuff down (there was kitch everywhere!), no blinds AT ALL over the many windows (3rd floor) means you ARE UP with the sun, and it feels very "exposed" while in a state of undress - even though no one would ever likely see you. Hanger over RR door clangs loudly each time it's shut and door knob nearly is falling out. Some basic upkeep is badly needed.

We had a wonderful stay. The beds were very comfy, the breakfast was delicious. The facilities were great and our hosts were lovely and welcoming.
Breakfast was not included, it usually is at a B&B.

Good location, pool and hot tub looked great although we didnt use. Good supply of water in fridge in room. Pool towels available. No info on website but there was a hair dryer in bathroom along with shampoo and conditioner. Quiet. Bedding seemed clean (although felt like cheap quality) and King bed was comfortable.
The room was incredibly dusty and it didnt look like it gets swept pr vacummed between guests as there were crumbs on floor. Lots of squished bug marks on ceiling (we added one while killing a spider).. next day noticed daddy long legs x 2 above mirror in bedroom (I have arachnophobia so not happy, and from all the bug squish marks on ceiling I dont think this was a one off). Dropped something beside bed and looked under it, and the side table, and gross, thick layer of dust bunnies. Wall lights either side of bed fill of cobwebs and dust, fake flower arrangement in room covered in thick dust. Everything just felt dirty. Place is for sale so I geel like the bare minimum is being done. We would not recommend the place to anyone who likes cleanliness in their accommodations.
