Beautiful location, lovely old house with tasteful modern bar / restaurant extension and quaint treehouse chalets in the grounds, friendly helpful staff, good facilities, delicious food

Slightly pokey little room, needed a bit more space to relax in. Staff had failed to empty dregs from room coffee pot after use by last guests

Beautiful location, fantastic house with a contemporary modern twist. Lovely restaurant which does not detract from the property. Comfortable rooms with lovely bedding. Nice sitting areas and great relaxed but efficient service.

Beautiful location, lovely building and grounds. Staff without exception welcoming and keen to help. Food was delicious. Well stocked bar Bedroom was very comfortable with a great bathroom

The property is in a beautiful setting .

Just a few points when paying quite a lot for a room . 1. someone else’s hair in the shower cubicle 2. A very dusty fan 3. A dust ball by the drinks cupboard 4 Tea stains on the surface where tea and coffee was to be made 5 A handle broken off in the hallway where milk was to be found in a fridge 6. Backs of chairs in the garden room restaurant that needed replacing.
