This Bed and breakfast is perfect for a couple people to go away to places like Alton Towers. The lady who runs it was so lovely and was very understanding to the fact that we were arriving later than had hoped to arrive and still met us outside to take us upstairs to the room herself. The room was comfortable and had great selections of teas, hot chocolate and coffee. The shower was easy to control the temperature of and the bed was very comfortable and very clean. I had breakfast in the morning, and it was delicious. Great company and great room. I will 100% be staying here again.

Host was lovely and welcoming, the room was so homely and comfortable. Equipped with everything we needed and heartfelt touches. Breakfast was delicious and homemade. Had such a wonderful stay here, and felt very taken care of. Thank you so much.

Within walking distance of Ashbourne, very friendly welcome, beautiful breakfast and a BATH!!!!
The shower repeatedly went from scalding hot to freezing cold.

The breakfast was what I expected. Parking was good and off the road. The views from the rear bedroom were very nice.
Although there was parking but it was a little tight, if you have a big SUV type car you may have a problem as you have to squeeze in between two buildings and there is limited space to turn around. There is also a very limited view as you pull out of the driveway on to the busy main road.
Whilst the accommodation was clean it was a little dated and is in need of a refurbishment. There was quite thick dust on some of the surfaces. You also need to take care when negotiating the stairs from the bedrooms so if you have limited mobility you may find the stairs a little difficult.
If you do book a room, try to get a rear facing room as the accommodation is situated on a very busy main road.
