Loved the air conditioning during a major heat wave. Friendly owners. Basketball hoop for my kids. East parking. Easy location. We had everything we needed and we were happy.

Just returned from an amazing 9 nights stay at Vida Verde over Whitsun week. Ine and Kingsley are such lovely welcoming hosts. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything we could possibly need, a lot of thought and care has been put into the accommodation. Huge comfy bed, waterfall shower, fully equipped kitchenette with Nespresso coffee maker. Breakfast was fantastic, with lots of vegan options, and so peaceful sitting looking over the garden in the sun. As keen runners this was a perfect central base to visit Aachen, Sittard and Maastricht parkruns, which were all about a 20 minutes drive away. Also plenty of walks/runs straight from the front door in the beautiful rolling countryside.
We loved everything here and were sad to leave.

We had and absolutely amazing stay at this location. The owners are extremely friendly and walked us around the area and showed us the room and how to use the keys, the breakfast was good! The hosts wife (forgive me I do not remember her name) cooked my son some amazing eggs and bacon! The room was the nicest one I have stayed in within Europe. The shower was delightful. The bed was the most comfortable I have slept on for a hotel bed. Parking on the road for fee across the street or within the gate of the property makes arriving and departing easy. It is a 10 minute drive to Maastricht and about a 3-5 minute drive to Valkenburg so walking is not much of an option.
There is not much we did not like. Some recommendations would be to provide a breakfast menu so guests know what you can cook for them and what all you can provide. Also when we arrived there is a barber shop connected to the building at the front so it was a little confusing on where we knock or go in to check in at. I would recommend placing a sign at the front door that reads "Guest check in here" over the doorbell. Other then that we loved everything else!
