Lakeside Memories offers a truly rustic getaway with modern amenities. Fife Lake is a destination that offers plenty: boating, hiking, ORV trails, and the Manistee River. Fife Lake has a public beach and boat launch, local restaurants, ice cream, playground/skate park, library, a disc golf course in walking distance and a local farmers market on Saturdays right downtown. Lakeside Memories is a short drive to Traverse City, Cadillac, and Kalkaska making Fife Lake a central attraction. The cabin was built in 1958 offering an enclosed three season porch with patio furniture and unobstructed views of Fife Lake, perfect for morning coffee watching the sunrise or an evening playing games with family while listening to the loons. Open dining/living area easy for entertaining and gathering, plus mudroom with laundry/storage. Additional cemented patio for relaxing and a great space to have your family dinner outside. Cabin has 3 bedrooms that will sleep 6 comfortably (1 queen, 1 double, 1 bunk bed twin/double) . We have a gas grill for complimentary use. Small but efficient AC/heating unit and multiple fans provided. Come visit and make lasting lakeside memories! I’m so glad I picked this place for our family vacation. We stayed 5 nights. Perfect location to get out and explore. Relaxing. The porch was great to wake up and have coffee with a view of the lake. Nice spot for evening fires. Lovely little town. All the amenities of home.

Our family of five loved staying in Fife Lake. The cabin was adorable, comfy and peaceful. The beds and the couch were very comfortable and we all slept great! All the fans kept the cabin cool and it was perfect at night. Loved drinking coffee in screened in porch and also watched the sunrise down by the dock over the lake. Short drive to Traverse City and we also took a day trip to Sleeping Bear Dunes and Petoskey. We can’t wait to come back to Fife Lake.

We had the best time vacation ! It was the coziest little cabin , clean and just spacious enough ! We loved the lake view and the screened in porch ! My daughter and I drank our coffee and read our books daily ! It was peaceful and relaxing , but close enough to Traverse City to get out and shop and do some fun activities ! We will stay again

We knew we were getting a small cabin for 6 and were not disappointed at all. There aren’t a ton of amenities, but if you’re looking for a comfortable and cozy lakeside cabin, this is it. The building is solid, the rooms are private and quiet. Beyond that, there is a full-size refrigerator, clothes washer and dryer and small electric stove and oven. Dishes and utensils are provided to make and enjoy meals. Sitting on the screened porch at dusk, over looking the lake and listening to the loons calling was amazing.

We had a wonderful time in Fife Lake over Memorial weekend. Our older kids could walk into town for ice cream and food. We could park our in-laws small boat out front for fishing. We had ample room in the home and enjoyed the porch over looking the water. It was great to be able to walk down to the water to play, use the grill and eat outside and to have wifi for the kids to have down time. Overall this was a great space for our family to stay being so close to our in-laws place in Fife Lake. The home was stocked with everything you could need. We will be returning in the future!

Our stay at this cozy comfy cottage on Fife Lake was wonderful. The beds were great with clean crisp bedding. The towels were soft & fluffy. Fans in every bedroom & living area to help with the heat. Kitchen was well equipped. Hosts were kind & quickly responded when help was needed with the windows and TV. I am short and didn’t have the strength to open all of them! Highly recommend a stay at this cottage.

You can tell that they have put a lot of thought into making sure their guests have a great experience. They left us a gift of wine and s’mores. My kids loved it. Very nice place. Super clean.

Not a 5 star hotel but a 5 star visit. Cottage was spotless. Great big plush bath towels. Beds were very comfortable. Everything we needed plus extras. Owners were very thoughtful in furnishing it with everything you would need. It was great not having to run to store for things. Loved having morning coffee on the screened in porch and looking at the lake and trees.

This cabin was extreamly clean my wife is a neat freak at it apeareared that evertyting was brand new and pristine. This cabin was perfect for our trip a center point to macanac isaland, traverse city, sleeping bear, petosky, st ignus. We hit it all in a one week vacation. We had some issues and the owners were super responsive and on the spot within an hour and fixed the issue with was above and beyond there responsiblities. I would stay here again and would recomend this cabin to anyone that reads this. My family will have memeories for life.

The cottage has been so thoughtfully and happily decorated—each bedroom is small but charming, and the owners have made sure to provide every possible thing you could need, from night lights to a kitchen with plenty of utensils, dishes and even essential condiments Our son and family stayed there the first five nights, and my husband and I spent the last two nights there. We especially appreciated the screened-in porch that overlooks the lake, the nice tv and WiFi, and how quiet it is at night.

Adorable cottage on Fife Lake. Very clean, cute and comfortable. Owners were excellent to communicate with and had most everything you would need to get started and settled in for your stay. My two fur babies were comfortable there and loved the screened in front porch, as did I, and the windows in the laundry room were great for looking out and chipmunk viewing. All linens and queen bed was so comfy cozy better than home actually. Enjoyed my stay very much at a great "get away from it all place".
