Situated in Fife Lake, this attractive cabin for $150 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. The Lake Cabins Resort provides a rustic getaway with modern amenities for your hiking, biking or boating vacation. The resort accommodations include the Lake House and 6 log cabins. along with complimentary use of our kayaks and paddle boards. Our resort has 100 ft of private beachfront along all sport, 617 acre Fife Lake, which is known for its great fishing and water sports. A short drive to Traverse City, Kalkaska and Cadillac put Fife Lake in the center of it all, with the Boardman River to the north and the Manistee River to the south. Whether you are looking for a getaway for 2, or a place to host a large gathering, The Lake Cabins Resort has something to fit your needs. The resort was built in the early 40’s and has lots of local history with the people and families that have enjoyed the resort in years past. We have restored the full log cabins with new kitchens and many upgrades that make for a great vacation spot. Fife Lake was voted best inland lake in northern Michigan in 2014. Our pristine beach is a great place to relax and soak up some sun. You can feel comfortable with the kids swimming off our beach as the water is shallow to the end of our dock. This was our 2nd time staying at the Lake Cabins resort. We go on an annual trip with 4 families with a wide range of ages of children (9 yrs to 20), and everyone had a wonderful time. The location is great, close to Traverse City. We did a couple of outings, but also spent a lot of time at the cabins. The lake is beautiful and there are lots of available kayaks and paddle boards to use. The kids enjoyed paddling down to the ice cream shop in town. The cabins are very clean and have AC, although mostly we were able to enjoy a nice breeze coming through the windows at night. The beds have been improved with nice memory foam pads on top, and this made a big difference for me! There are nice fire pits outside each cabin, but also a communal one which we mostly used, and has a great view overlooking the lake. We also rented the pontoon one day and were able to go out and enjoy a very nice shallow sandbar across the lake. All in all, we had a fantastic trip and are certain to be back! Thanks to Beckey and Jeff for providing a great location for us to visit.

We enjoyed our stay, beds were comfy, kitchen was stocked, beautiful views from the campfire, nice sandy spot for kids to play, we enjoyed fishing off the dock. There wasn’t a ton of room for littles to run around and be free, but we spent our days out visiting other family. Our power went out on our last morning and the staff was gracious with our clean up expectations. Overall a great place to stay! Would stay again.

We had so much fun. The cabins have everything you need. The beach is perfect and I believe Fife lake is the clearest water in Michigan. We rented the pontoon boat twice and Jeff was always there to help us new boaters park and tie up.

Jeff and Beckey's property was perfect for our family reunion. We rented the house and all of the cabins and each family had their own space - it was perfect. The house and cabins have everything you need and everything was spotless! We spent lots of time swimming in the lake, kayaking, and paddle boarding. The little kids had fun playing in the beach and shallow water area. The outside area around the cabins was perfect for eating meals together, outdoor movie night, 80's night, and talking around the fire pit. We ventured into Traverse City and visited the Sleeping Bear Dunes national park. We highly recommend this property!

We had so much fun here for my best friend's bachelorette party. Jeff was a fantastic host. The cabin and surrounding property were well kept. The lake was perfect and we took full advantage of the fire pit and grill next to our cabin. Definitely planning to return again. Thank you for a great weekend!

Great place to stay. Beautiful views. The cabin was very clean and nice. The check in process was very easy. The owners are very kind and helpful. We decided to rent a boat and the price was very reasonable. Lots of things to do in the area. Overall Beautiful place to stay. Would definitely rent from them again.

Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay at Fife Lake. The lake is beautiful and the cabin had everything we needed. As a bonus, the kayaks and paddle boards provided an entire day of family fun! We were happy to have found this beautiful lake. It was 30 minutes from Traverse City and an hour from the Sleeping Bear Sand dunes. It was our first time to this area of Michigan and we were pleasantly surprised to find Fife Lake has a cute ice cream shop and some decent restaurants as well! We highly recommend staying with Lake Cabin Resort.

Our stay at Lake Cabins was fantastic! The only complaint I have is that we didn’t plan to stay longer. The cabins has everything we could possibly need (and more- I didn’t expect cable or wifi). The cabins were VERY clean, air conditioning worked well, shower water stayed warm. Dish soap, hand soap, paper towels, cleaning supplies, bed linens, towels, kitchen towels, pots and pans, dishes, silverware, grill utensils, measuring cups were all there! They thought of everything. The cabin has two small bedrooms and a full size futon. It was perfect for our family of 6. We used the fire pit and grill next to our cabin, which were great. They sell bundles of wood for $5. One night we used the community fire pit which has a view of the lake- a little windy, but that was nice too. The beach area is small, and it’s clear to see from the pictures that it’s easiest for the guests in the lake house to access, but we found it sufficient to share the space with other guests. The kids enjoyed swimming by the dock and using the kayaks. Plenty of chairs and umbrellas set up down there for reading and relaxing. We rented a pontoon for an afternoon- it was very reasonable- $100 for 4 hours. Fife lake is beautiful and quiet - not a lot of traffic on the water which makes for a really relaxing time on the water. We went in to Traverse City to play some mini golf and walk around 25 mins. And another day we went to Sleeping Bear Dunes (1 hour drive)- and it was great. Overall, it was a great stay. Jeff and Becky are very nice people and accommodating. We can’t wait to go back!

The perfect place to crash after a long day on the water, at the beach, or walking the towns nearby. With a beautiful view of Fife, the cabin was cozy and supplied everything we needed. Definitely coming back next year!

Cabin was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The property was very nice and lacked for nothing to keep all ages entertained........even teenagers. The property managers were very nice and helpful, especially for this single lady who's never built a fire on her own Lol.

Perfect setting for a quick but long weekend. The cabin was very clean and was stock with the necessities. The use of the paddleboards and kayaks was fun. We rented the pontoon and went to the island and we could see the eagle nest, very cool. Thank you for a fun weekend
