Located in Fife Lake, this charming cabin for $150 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. The Lake Cabins Resort provides a rustic getaway with modern amenities for your hiking, biking or boating vacation. The resort accommodations include the Lake House and 6 log cabins. along with complimentary use of our kayaks and paddle boards. Our resort has 100 ft of private beachfront along all sport, 617 acre Fife Lake, which is known for its great fishing and water sports. A short drive to Traverse City, Kalkaska and Cadillac put Fife Lake in the center of it all, with the Boardman River to the north and the Manistee River to the south. Whether you are looking for a getaway for 2, or a place to host a large gathering, The Lake Cabins Resort has something to fit your needs. The resort was built in the early 40’s and has lots of local history with the people and families that have enjoyed the resort in years past. We have restored the full log cabins with new kitchens and many upgrades that make for a great vacation spot. Fife Lake was voted best inland lake in northern Michigan in 2014. Our pristine beach is a great place to relax and soak up some sun. You can feel comfortable with the kids swimming off our beach as the water is shallow to the end of our dock. Boat rentals are available should you wish to tour the lake and find the eagles nests or loon’s nests. Cabin 4 has 2 bedrooms and 1 futon that make out to a double beds. Sleeps 5 comfortably, 6 if the children are small. Approximately 350 square feet.

Older cabins, small but comfortable with everything we needed. All was in working condition. It had air conditioning which we actually needed for the few days of 90+. The owner was fantastic to deal with, all camp rules clearly defined and nothing crazy. We have already made plans to come back. Highly recommend.

We were so worried about getting fined or having to pay for things left in the trash and fridge. We didn’t get to enjoy our time, because we were too worried about the rules. We even picked marshmallows up off the ground, because we were worried we’d get charged for that. Bring your own towels, if you take theirs outside it’s 10 dollars per towel. More like a prison camp

Great property and location for a family/friend group vacation. Cabins are clean and well stocked. Beach area for sand and water fun, with kayaks and paddle boards available. Multiple fire pits for evening campfires. The owners are super friendly and helpful!

The cabin was extremely clean, the kitchen was well stocked with utensils/cooking ware and had new appliances, the beds were comfortable and we slept well. It was a cozy cabin and the owners have done a remarkable job of efficiently organizing the space. Additionally, the owners were incredibly friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay in Cabin 4. For reference, we were three adults. Note: If you want a scenic view while using the firepit/picnic table for your cabin you want to select a cabin closer to the lake. There is a firepit on the beach but it is reserved for the house occupants when present.

We loved our stay at this property! I met the owner, Jeff, on arrival - he was very friendly and welcoming. The cabin itself was clean and fully stocked with everything we could’ve asked for. It even has air conditioning, which we were grateful for because it was a little humid during our stay. We will definitely be back!

This was a perfect fit for our large family. The cabins were clean and equipped with whatever we needed. We loved the view of Fife Lake. The beach area was nice and private with a variety of paddle boards and kayaks to enjoy. Beautiful weather and camp fires at night!

Jeff and Beckey's property was perfect for our family reunion. We rented the house and all of the cabins and each family had their own space - it was perfect. The house and cabins have everything you need and everything was spotless! We spent lots of time swimming in the lake, kayaking, and paddle boarding. The little kids had fun playing in the beach and shallow water area. The outside area around the cabins was perfect for eating meals together, outdoor movie night, 80's night, and talking around the fire pit. We ventured into Traverse City and visited the Sleeping Bear Dunes national park. We highly recommend this property!

The cabins are tiny, but you can tell that these are older buildings that have recently been upgraded. The tiles are new, the dishes are clean, the towels are fluffy. So even though it's a very woodsy, small cabin, you are very comfortable the whole time! And the management was very kind when we struggled with our fire. Top notch!

Great cabin and everything was detailed-how to get to the cabin, where to park, the limits, the rules, and how to check out. they had things to do in the area. They were around if you needed something, but was in the background. My kids left their shoes under the bed and they are sending them to us. Loved the kayaks and paddleboards. My kids enjoyed riding the boats. They had a grilling station and camp fire pit for each cabin. The wifi was awesome at every point of the property.

We were greeted by the owner upon arriving. We completed some paperwork and he gave us a tour of the property. He also directed us to the public access to put our boat in the water so we could dock it in front of the resort area. The beach was clean and it was super kid friendly. We never worried when our young teen was on the dock fishing. While we brought our own boat there is boat rental available. The cottages are super cute and once you are settled in you start to relax right away. Thanks Jeff and Becky for allowing us to enjoy your resort and assisting us in an awesome vacation!
