Located in Fife Lake, this attractive cabin for $150 per night is a great option for your next vacation. The Lake Cabins Resort provides a rustic getaway with modern amenities for your hiking, biking or boating vacation. The resort accommodations include the Lake House and 6 log cabins. along with complimentary use of our kayaks and paddle boards. Our resort has 100 ft of private beachfront along all sport, 617 acre Fife Lake, which is known for its great fishing and water sports. A short drive to Traverse City, Kalkaska and Cadillac put Fife Lake in the center of it all, with the Boardman River to the north and the Manistee River to the south. Whether you are looking for a getaway for 2, or a place to host a large gathering, The Lake Cabins Resort has something to fit your needs. The resort was built in the early 40’s and has lots of local history with the people and families that have enjoyed the resort in years past. We have restored the full log cabins with new kitchens and many upgrades that make for a great vacation spot. Fife Lake was voted best inland lake in northern Michigan in 2014. Our pristine beach is a great place to relax and soak up some sun. You can feel comfortable with the kids swimming off our beach as the water is shallow to the end of our dock. Boat rentals are available should you wish to tour the lake and find the eagles nests or loon’s nests. Cabin 2 has 2 bedrooms and 1 futon that make out to a double beds. Sleeps 5 comfortably, 6 if the children are small. Approximately 350 square feet.

This was our first time staying in the cabins on Fife lake and we will definitely be back. It is a nice area to relax and enjoy the view of the lake. The cabins were as described, quaint with just the basics of what you need. The free kayaks were our favorite amenity. Just to note, the bathrooms are really small so if you have kids, the entire bathroom floor will be wet from showers but we didnt mind too much since we enjoyed the rest of the cabin and lake so much. The host were very friendly and helpful and made our stay just perfect.

We stayed here July 5-8 of 2023 because our son was in the Traverse City Cherry Festival Parade. It was 1/2 hr. from Traverse City but so much less expensive. We LOVED our stay here. The cabin was cute and clean and the resort as a whole was very charming. We loved coming back to the cabin after a long day in the city for some R&R. The cabin had everything we needed and it was nice to cook some meals there to save money. The lake was close and beautiful. There is also a great ice cream place right down the road! We will definitely stay here again if our son is in the parade next year. We can't wait!

Very nice cabin and property. The host , Becky, greeted us when we got there. She was very friendly. The cabin was very clean and had a great view of the lake. Quiet and relaxing.

Jeff and Beckey's property was perfect for our family reunion. We rented the house and all of the cabins and each family had their own space - it was perfect. The house and cabins have everything you need and everything was spotless! We spent lots of time swimming in the lake, kayaking, and paddle boarding. The little kids had fun playing in the beach and shallow water area. The outside area around the cabins was perfect for eating meals together, outdoor movie night, 80's night, and talking around the fire pit. We ventured into Traverse City and visited the Sleeping Bear Dunes national park. We highly recommend this property!

I thought the owners were very nice and eager to answer questions. Loved the place and will be coming back. The lady I first met when I got there (cleaning staff) was very nice too. Loved it all, only negative was very dirty behind the stove. Hope to see you again.

Stay went well, easy check in and out. Resort had beautiful view and lake access. Cabin could use some updates. Futon/couch not comfortable and dated. The mattresses in both bedrooms need replaced immediately. They are horrible even my 16 year old as well as 19 year old commented how bad they were. My husband and I could not sleep together because the mattress topper kept sliding off, we are not big people. Overall stay went well just needs updates.

My family and I were looking for a nice clean place by the lake… this was the place. The cabin was clean and equipped with all the things you would need. Love the local shops if you are looking to get away from the city live this is a nice place for that. On the rainy day we drove to Traverse City which was only 30 minutes away. Also management was wonderful!

When we arrived, we were surprised to see multiple fire pits and kayaks to rent. They made sure to make us feel welcome and there was plenty to do! Not far from Traverse City. 10/10 would rent again!

The cabin (2) was perfect for the 4 of us. Cabin was very clean and organized. We were having the hardest time starting our fire, Jeff, the owner, came over and got it going for us both nights were stayed. He even stayed and chatted for a bit. Very personable. We will definitely be back!!

Cabin #2 was actually nicer than pictures showed. Clean and awesome Air-Conditioner! Also, free use of SUP's and Kayaks was a bonus! Shallow swim area inside docs for little ones. Good Times!

This resort was the perfect get away for my friend and I looking to disappear for the weekend. Jeff and Beckey (and Jacob!) were incredibly friendly and helpful! Their effort to accommodate to our needs was so compassionate and sweet. The cabin was perfect, super homey and cozy. We were not expecting to be stocked with dishes and towels and blankets, which was amazing. The fact that we also had free access to the kayaks, paddle boats, and fire pits truly made our stay even better! We enjoyed ourselves so much that my friend and I plan to come back every summer but for a week instead of a short weekend! Thanks Jeff and Beckey!!
