The decor and interior design
Food was acceptable but disappointing breakfast no muesli, oats,plain yogurt, fresh fruit, poor quality jam in a bowl. No staff about at all until breakfast was over.
At night time we missed the entrance driving in because the hotel sign was not illuminated and the car park was in darkness. Our room had a fire exit door inside with instructions not to block it as corridor guests would need to escape via our room in the event of a fire. But we had not been informed about this on our check in. The room key did not fit well. The curtains were too thin and let early morning light in.

Staff were friendly. Location and parking were great.
Breakfast was sparse, had to ask for things, more tables needed to be laid out ready.

Comfortable bed and room, great nights sleep.
Poor directions to the room, lack of attention to detail at evening meal, not a particularly warm welcome at the bar.
No staff in attendance at continental breakfast. In addition to ourselves 3 other couples were uncertain where to sit, what to do and 2 people went into the kitchen which was unattended to get cereal bowls.
This hotel has great potential, just lacks attentive staff and attention to detail.
