Welcome to your beautiful home away from home set in the upscale neighborhood of Isla Del Sol! You will absolutely love the laid-back luxury of this beautiful beach community and this recently updated amazing beach house. This is where you need to go to feel the cozy warmth that a real beach house has to offer.

There are three wonderful outdoor entertaining areas and neighborhood features.

The main deck has a lovely covered seating area that offers serene canal views where you can enjoy your morning coffee or a glass of wine as the sun goes down. The deck extends over the boathouse where the views of the canal are spectacular.

The lower deck has 6 Polywood Adirondack chairs from where you can cast a line, throw burgers on the provided charcoal grill and enjoy catching up with friends.

There is also an upstairs balcony off of the main bedroom with seating for two. The privacy is perfect for winding down in the evening and this deck is accessible from the master bedroom and the upstairs queen bedroom.

The house is a short walk to the nearby estuary and fishing dock where there are spectacular views of the bay, and you may even catch that evening's meal. The nearby boat ramp is accessible only to Isla Del Sol residents and its guests. The key is provided with the rental. We have one kayak available for cruising the canals. We also have an outdoor shower for rinsing off after a great day at the beach.

The beautiful neighborhood beach is vehicle accessible with a marked parking area for your car. It does not allow vehicles to drive down the beachfront. This makes it easy for you to bring your beach items in the vehicle, unload, and set up for a great day at the beach!

Living Space

The home's open floor plan is perfect for friends and family to enjoy gathering and creating lasting memories. With 5 Bedrooms/ 3.5 baths it is a perfect home for entertaining with family and friends. When entering the home you will feel the open floor plan wrap you with comfort and get you ready for relaxation. Prepare home-cooked meals in the well-equipped kitchen with everything provided including a waffle iron, crock pot, and standard coffee maker. Dream up a new frozen beverage at the wet bar, complete with a beverage fridge and blender. The lovely large island in the kitchen offers a wonderful location to cook up the morning breakfast or lunch for the kiddos. The large dining table seats 8 comfortably so you can gather and share the best parts of the day's activities. The home offers two new sofas in the living space where you can watch your favorite show or play fun games.

Bedrooms and Bath

This home has five bedrooms that sleep 16 total. Three full bathrooms and one half-bath are each stocked with Shampoo/Conditioner and bath and hand soap.

Rest comfortably on a king bed in the upstairs main bedroom, complete with a 32" flat-screen TV, and access to a canal-front upstairs deck. The en-suite bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower and jetted tub.

The second bedroom upstairs has a king bed 32" flat-screen TV and access to the canal front upstairs deck. It shares a bathroom with the bunk room upstairs that has a tub/shower combination.

The third bedroom upstairs is a wonderful oasis for the kiddos or adults that love to gather and play cards or binge-watch TV. This amazing bunk room has 2 bunk beds with queen over queen beds - this room sleeps up to 8 guests and offers plenty of room to spread out. There is a new 65" Roku flat screen, which is perfect for lounging and having a movie night. There is a table and 4 chairs, which are perfect for playing cards, putting together a puzzle, or playing games. This room shares a bathroom with bedroom 2 and has a tub/shower combination.

The fourth bedroom is on the main living level and has a king bed 32" flat-screen TV, desk, and has access to the main deck. An adjacent bathroom includes a walk-in shower and separate tub. It has a desk in the room for a small workspace.

The fifth bedroom is also on the main living level and has a king-size bed, 32" flat-screen TV, and offers main level deck access. It shares the bathroom with bedroom 4 and has a small seating area with two chairs.

Parking and Extra Details

Driveway parking is available for four vehicles. An outdoor shower, washer/dryer, and complimentary Wi-Fi are provided. A public boat ramp is available nearby.

Access to the home is via a flight of stairs.

FISHING AMENITIES

Our rental property is located directly on the canal in Isla del Sol. The canal is circular and communicates with the large bay allowing tidal water, fish, and bait movement. Fishing and crabbing from our dock is very good: All species of fish that are caught in the Galveston West Bay can be found in the canal.

You will enjoy the fishing amenities provided. There is a fish-cleaning table with running water on the dock as well as a 55-gallon perforated drum that can be used as a live bait receptacle that lowers into the water. There are underwater green lights that attract fish and bait at night. The dock is designed to allow your boat to be tied up alongside. A private boat launch is only 100 feet away with parking space for trailers and vehicles. There is good crabbing off the dock. Two kayaks are provided.

Located in the Isla del Sol addition, there is access to a private fishing pier that extends into the West Bay and an adjacent estuary that offers fishing and crabbing.

While fishing results are never guaranteed, this location has proven very productive year-round. Fall fishing is exceptional for speckled trout, red fish and flounder.

Galveston Island has so much to offer. Enjoy spending time at the historic Strand District for shopping, great restaurants, and more. Moody Gardens and Schlitterbahn Waterpark are a must as well. Enjoy wonderful dining at the local hot spots including Rudy and Paco's, Katies, The Fisherman's Wharf, and so many more. You will enjoy making magical memories in this wonderful location.
