The Ray Hotel Delray Beach, Curio Collection By Hilton

This was a cool hotel. A friend of mine recommended going to Del Ray for a quick summer weekend. As I arrived, I realized the upscaled value this location presented. The overall architectural design was fantastic. It's a very modern looking building, and based on the line of expensive cars outside, it definitely attracts a specific crowd. The room itself was very comfortable, no complaints whatsoever, and the upstairs bar/patio area was definitely a vibe that anyone would love to catch! People are dressed to the nines, as the saying goes, during the evening hours. However, it did seem like it was an after-work spot as well. I saw alot of people coming in around that happy hour time, eat, drink, and dash before all the "celebrities" showed up. There's plenty of access to food, in the lobby, they make breakfast, and coffee, and a quick walk across the street, there's a great spot called Lulus, great drinks, and food, and if you keep going, the main drag has plenty of bars and local spots to have dinner. So the location is fantastic. Finally, there's also a shuttle that will take you down to the beach. I didn't get the opportunity to use it, but a couple I met on the elevator was raving about how convenient it was.

Parking was a bit of a thing. The valet is on the expensive side. My recommendation, find street parking.

The location was excellent—everything we needed was within walking distance. Restaurants, shops, and key attractions were all nearby, which made it very convenient and saved us time on transportation

The photos shown on Booking did not match reality. When I raised this issue at reception, a woman named Gaby didn’t even attempt to help—instead, her cold suggestion was that we should just check out since that was nothing she could do. As you can imagine, that response was shocking and incredibly disappointing. Thankfully, Jackson quickly noticed what was happening and gently tried to offer us a workaround. The next day, Tom, the manager, personally attended us and gave us a discount, which helped ease the situation. Other things to keep in mind: there is no room service, and breakfast is just a small coffee shop.
