I had a good overall stay at Margaritaville Resort Times Square. The room was clean, comfortable and nicely presented, and the complimentary amenities were a nice touch.
The location is excellent if you want to be in the heart of New York, with Times Square right on your doorstep, making it a very convenient base for exploring the city and getting around. As we were visiting New York for the US Open, the location was particularly convenient. It can be noisy at times because of the central location, but that is to be expected when staying in Times Square.
There were a couple of service issues that unfortunately affected my experience. I was disappointed that I couldn’t watch the US Open on the television in the room. The TV required you to connect your own mobile device in order to access streaming apps, rather than having the usual range of channels available. As watching the US Open was one of the main reasons for our trip, this was a significant disappointment.
I also ordered breakfast through in-room dining, but unfortunately it never arrived. I called a few times and was told I could order by phone, but the link I was told would be sent to me never came through. I eventually had to get up and go out for breakfast, which was inconvenient.
Overall, the hotel is clean, comfortable and in a fantastic location, but I felt the service was not quite at the level I would expect, particularly given the issues with breakfast and the lack of a straightforward way to watch television in the room. With a few improvements to the guest service experience, this could be a very good option for staying in New York.

It was clean. It was few minutes from the pot Authority and right in Times Square. It’s like a hidden gem in the city.

I like the pool and having service while out by the pool however not enough seating and the pool is small. The location of the hotel is about the only good thing about this resort .
The hotel restaurant on the second floor they will skip you being seated stay upstairs and watch especially if you are going to see Broadway show . The food wasn’t the best . The night manager lied about taken a charge off my bill which I didn’t even care I paid it’s the principle that you could have just apologize for the inconvenience and train your staff . Only good thing about that restaurant was one waitress which I did let the manager in the morning know about the whole experience and at least she was apologetic and knowledge that the waitress was amazing she was there only saving grace . The room service wasn’t good . The room window curtains had black on them . The shower water was annoying had to play with trying to get the hot water on . I felt like for the price of this resort they don’t care about their guests. On top of the pool being closed early or one of the outside bars being closed early for outside events. Also to secure a spot at the pool you would need to rent an additional charge of $200 a day for a 2 seat lounge chair or $500 for a Cubana. The elevators suck as well . I feel like this hotel could use an updated for its interior.
