Beautifully restored Chico charmer built in1880 with high ceilings, hardwood floors, a relaxing front porch and private backyard with a gazebo, patio, and outdoor seating. This charming home has a newly renovated bathroom, three bedrooms, a nice, modern kitchen and dining room. Read a book on the spacious window seat in the living room. The house has comfortable beds and high thread count bedding. It is a five minute walk to Bidwell Park, downtown cafes, bars, City Plaza, and the Thursday night and Saturday morning Farmer's Markets. Walk the charming neighborhood to Chico's famous Shubert's ice cream shop or walk in Bidwell Park. Enjoy eating oranges from the two mature orange trees or make your own delicious fresh squeezed orange juice. PLEASE NOTE: Check-In: 4:00 PM Check-Out: 11 AM *We CANNOT accommodate early check-in or late check-outs.* ABSOLUTELY NO PETS, SMOKING OF ANY KIND, OR PARTIES! This vintage home is beautiful and just what we hoped for; a comfy space while visiting our adult kids in Chico over Thanksgiving. Great location, close to everything you need, while not in the heart of it. The private outdoor space is a real plus. A bit of outdoor noise at times since the cross street is fairly high traffic, but nothing that would prevent another stay. Supplied well with towels, soap, etc. Annie was easy to communicate with and we truly had everything we needed.

A group of 6 girls stayed here for our sorority’s alumni weekend. The house is larger than the photos make it seem and it was extremely clean and had thoughtful touches. Everyone loved this place, and was an easy walk to most places. I am not sure why other guests think it was a long walk to places, but as the 6 of us went to Chico state we thought it was totally fine even in 40 degree weather. For example, the walk from this vrbo to the farthest bar, Riley’s, was less than 15 min. As well, we loved how many mirrors there were for when we were all getting ready. Would definitely stay here again!

The house is very spacious and charming! The beds were very comfortable and it had everything we needed! We will definitely stay there again. The only issue was that it was a little further from downtown than we thought, so we needed an uber to get downtown to dinner. But otherwise it is a very cute home!

We loved our stay here! The house was picture perfect right on the corner of strollable neighborhood, we took a few walks and it was so charming. The inside was great too, our family dinners were enjoyed in the perfectly lighted dining room and when it was time to get ready for our event we loved having that spacious areas around the vanity ✨

The house was beautiful inside, located walking distance to many restaurants but located with a three lane one way road to side of house. We could hear traffic inside and couldn’t enjoy back yard due to noise & unkept yard. Too much debris with spider webs & spiders. There was also an old water fountain with standing water which is breeding ground for mosquitoes.

This Chico home is so lovely, cozy and charming! Right when we walked in it, we knew it was a well loved home. It had everything we needed to feel like a home away from home. The backyard was so great in the morning to enjoy a cup of coffee and just relax. We also love the location, as we walked everywhere instead of driving. If you are in Chico, this is the perfect place to stay!

We love the Chico Charmer and hope to visit again. The neighborhood is lovely and the house is remarkable considering it’s age. Sparkling clean, well stocked with essentials (kitchen ware, condiments, paper goods. We all had things to do but I think each of us could have relaxed in the back yard for days. Walking distance to downtown. If you’re visiting Chico don’t pass this one up. You’ll love it too. PS Our Host was great. Great communication, and updates during our stay. Thank you Annie!

Location is epic, it’s walking distance to a lot! As 30 year olds that used to live near Ivy, this was the perfect spot to stay and be able to walk but not be in the middle of it all! Lucky to be able to enjoy all the cool features of house!

We stayed at this charming house for our daughter’s Nurse Pinning Ceremony from Chico State. We have rented a lot of houses on VRBO but this one was the best appointed house ever. Coffee, tea, creamers, sugars, oatmeal, snacks, and everything you need for cooking. The house is darling, comfortable, and close enough to downtown to walk. Thank you so much for the use of your home!

Safe location, everything you need and more in the house and host was so quickly to communicate. There were tons of pamphlets on things to do in town if you aren't familiar with chico. Would absolutely stay again when we come back.

The home was as described. It was charming and a great place for me and my family to spend the weekend. We had a great time having our son, freshmen, in Chico have a home cooked meal for his birthday. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for our meal prep. The check in was simple even though I didn't arrive into town until really late. The backyard was an Oasis and felt very cozy. Everything was exactly like the pictures! Annie communicated everything we needed to know before-hand, so check out was also very simple. The location is also great, close to everything. There even was a pop up street vender fair that appeared down the street. Street parking wasn't bad and we were less than a mile from Bidwell Park. Everyone had an amazing weekend and we will be back very soon.
